US Offers $10 Million Bounty For al-Qaeda in Iraq Leader

The U.S. State Department is offering a $10 million reward for information leading to the location of the senior leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq (A.Q.I.). As well as offering the bounty, the U.S. State Department also designated Abu Du’a as a “Specially Designated Global Terrorist.” The designation prohibits supporting Abu Du’a and freezes any assets he may have in the United States or comes under the control of U.S. persons.
