Following Syrian reports that they’d foiled an Israeli attack near the Golan Heights, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to launch even more preemptive attacks against Syria into the future.
Netanyahu said Israel was facing “unending” tests, and that they would
continue to attack in a “systematic and consistent manner” to ensure
that Syria never establishes any capability to threaten Israel.
In practice Israel has been attacking targets in Syria on a regular
basis for months now, and indeed has spent much of the Syrian War
feigning neutrality while backing rebel groups, and attacking
pro-government forces on every pretext, and often with no pretext at
all.
It is no surprise, then, to hear that preemptive Israeli attacks will
continue, though it is somewhat surprising to hear Israeli officials
present them as such. Generally speaking, Israel tries to spin every
strike they acknowledge as retaliation, and when they aren’t retaliating
against anything in particular, they generally refuse to comment.
Syria is Israel’s punching bag. It can’t or won’t fight back. The S-300 is a hollow tin can.
Just like Putin who sold the tin cans to Syria.

Syria has its hands full in Idlib Province. Reports are, though, that the Syrian Army is making steady progress toward ridding it of CIA/Mossad and Turkish sponsored head-choppers. When that mess is cleared up maybe Israel won’t be able to act with impunity in southern Syria like it does now.
But, the upcoming war on Iran will change everything. All bets are off when that happens. Israel, Hezbolla, Syria, Russia, the USA, Iran, and maybe even China will be going at it, nukes and all. Heaven help us.
What makes you think, Thomas, that there will be an upcoming war on Iran? DJT surely didn’t say there’ll be one (he doesn’t even want it), and Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khameini actually stated there WON’T be any war on the US. I believe Ayatollah Khameini a whole lot more than I do Bibzy Nutty&Yahoo and/or the Bolshevik warmongers in Israel and in the US.
Truth is, Iran’s a peaceful country that hasn’t attacked its neighbors in nearly 500 years .. But that doesn’t mean Iran won’t defend itself against aggression; the 1980-88 war with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq proved that point quite clearly.
Anyone (and I mean the suicidal warmongers) who thinks a war with Iran will be a cakewalk is totally insane (this goes with Bonkers Bolton and Pompous Pompeo) and needs psychiatric help immediately.
Two more oil tankers were hit in the Gulf of Oman today while Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo was visiting Tehran. It’s almost certain that Iran would not have caused an incident at this critical moment, but is being blamed anyway by the usual suspects who’ve been known to pull off false-flag attacks as pretexts for war in the past. The situation changes by the hour.

Considering Iran desires tankers to come up the strait to buy Iranian oil, seems disrupting shipping would be the very last thing they would do.

Likeliest suspects: The US, Saudi Arabia, and Israel, or forces working for them.
Less likely, but still plausible, suspects: Al Qaeda or some other Wahabbi/Salafist group with an interest in disrupting the region and facilitating the killing of e.g. Shiites.

The correct word here is not “preemptive,” it is “preventive,” which is totally illegal by international law.
preventive is also like ‘defensive’ . It’s pretty hard to create a case of an attack which cannot be called preventive. ‘we prevented them from harming our interests’. For instance by being able to defend themselves.
The world would be a relatively peaceful place without israel
A retired US general disclosed that as far back as 2001 the USA had planned to attack 7 countries in a number of years. These were all countries whose central banks had not capitulated to the order of the Bank of international settlements. Iran is on the list and should be ready for not only fighting a defensive war but recognise that offense is often the most effective defense.
Trump and his cronies know that they have to monitor and restrict Islamic sympathizers from being able to bring acts of sabotage to the USA, as that is the only means of offense that Iran can stage outside of absorbing US missiles.
Israel will take advantage of the coming attacks on Iran to try and destroy Assad.
Imagine the reaction if Syria, which has justification unlike Israel, announced it’s intention to preemptively strike Israel.

Israel in general does asymmetric preventive retaliation: meaning any pretext is fine but not being able to come up with a pretext is fine too.
preemptive, means without provocation, a measure taken against something that might or could happen, wow, imagine that, israel attacking a country without provocation, which is a war crime, crime against humanity, a violation of international law, the laws of nations, and the UN charter, Wouldn’t this unprovoked attack be considered TERRORISM? which would make israel a TERRORIST STATE! and aren’t terrorist states, the enemy of every decent country?
if you think about it though its technically non of those things since Israel and Syria have been @ war since 48. no peace has ever been signed so technically they are legally covered. they are however state sponsors of terrorism and are still illegally occupying the West Bank and starving Gaza and butchering its citizens every day. not to mention there Mossad and Shin Bet do work like terrorists, false flag events, I even truly believe they’re the ones sabotaging the ships in the gulf just to get the states to go to war with Iran
