In an example of cooperation not seen between the two sides throughout the civil war, Ukraine’s government and eastern rebels have cooperated to evacuate Debaltseve, a front-line town currently contested in their fighting.
Debaltseve is considered a strategically valuable site, along the highway between Luhansk and Donetsk. It is currently held by the military, though the rebels have been making progress on it.
Rebels said the deal to evacuate Debaltseve was crucial, as it allowed the residents of the mostly ethnic Russian town to decide whether they want to go to rebel territory or government territory.
That the two sides were willing to cooperate at all on the matter could be a hugely positive sign for a new round of negotiations, aimed at restoring the ceasefire that collapsed last month.

The Ukrainian army, consisting of 8-10000 men are completely surrounded by rebel forces in Debaltseve. The Rebel commanders have stated on TV that if the Ukrainian units surrender, they will be allowed to go home, if not, prepare for the consequences.

I'am not today buying the idea it was the CIA that was shooting the innocent protesters and the establishments police force . This would be a very vile and repulsive war crime . I just can not imagine the United States government being responsible for this under president Obama . But none the less the same guns fired the same indentifiable bullets into both sides often enough so that it looks like a false flag coup carried out by some body . These charges need to be investigated until we have the true answers to these questions .
Since the mercenaries never give up anything they aren't forced to, and they certainly never let people choose freely where they want to go, one can suspect that they are somehow being forced into this. They may, of course, be in the process of intimidating the population into voting for them. That will be seen as just more Israeli tactics on Putin's part and will just harden attitudes in the US and the EU. That, in it's turn, may be precisely why the Ukrainians agreed to it.
