The secessionist protests in Eastern Ukraine and the subsequent Ukraine military takeover of the city of Kharkiv have added dramatically to East-West tensions in the area, and also to rumors and allegations of foreign involvement.
It’s not just unsourced claims from anonymous people, either. Secretary of State John Kerry openly accused Russia of sending “provocateurs” to Donetsk and the other cities and bribing ethnic Russians to protest against the pro-West government.
Kerry’s Russian counterpart similarly claimed that the Ukrainian military offensive against Kharkiv involved “US mercenaries” from the Greystone company, a subsidiary of the notorious Blackwater.
Ukrainian government spokesmen insisted that there were “no US special forces” involved in the Kharkiv operation, which likely intended to be a denial of the Blackwater claim, but was worded in a way that leaves the question open, and the rumors swirling.
Special forces are usually considered part of U S military , Blackwater or MRPI , I don't know how many armies come out of the United States , These are mercenary armies that may or may not be paid by our government . These armies have a lot of former US army officers and many special forces personel they draw much higher wages than they do in the regular military . I know they were active in Croatia's operation storm against Yugoslavia . These armies are not controlled by our regular government and congress , and our government usually does not claim responsibility for them . Yes this coupe in Ukraine sounds like a job these guys do . Like in Yugoslavia the country just mysteriously fell apart . If this is happening in Ukraine I don't think Russia will put up with it any more than they did with USAID or the pussy riot girls

We already punished Russia in Yugoslavia before Putin was even elected . You see Yeltsin ended the war against Yugoslavia by promising Milosevic Russian troops will be coming in with NATO and they would protect Yugoslavia's Orthodox Christians . When Russian troops arrived the stupid U. S. general Wesley Clark issued orders to shoot the Russian soldiers . Evidently we did not want any Christians protected . Russia got very upset about this and discarded Yeltsin and selected Putin because the Russians believed Putin would stand up to NATO . It is hard to understand the problems of today without knowing a little bit about the past too .

And also, Kosovo had to become independent because of the brutal Milosevic regime that oppressed Kosovars. He is apsolutely counting on the lack of knowledge in general public, otherwise would not have told such a mountain of nonsense. First, there was no referendum. Only a declaration by the group of people. Second, there was no coordination with UN — only after the fact, as UN put it — recognizing the reality on the ground. That was confirmed by the International Court of Justice that examined the process, determining that it went outside of the UN SC R. 1244, on not related to the UNMIK autority established for Kosovo. And the myth of Miloshevic regime is even more spacious. Albanians in Kosovo had self-rule for nearly eight years under the protection of NATO (KFOR), and during that period removed over 300,000 Serbs, destroyed over 100 ancient churches and monasteries — all under the protection of NATO. During eight years, opened borders with Albania and changed population composition, making the native Kosovo Albanians a minority. Having completed ethnic cleansing of people and their history — a group, not legitimately the Assembly under UNMIK, declared independence. It was as legitimate as the coup in Kyev — but everybody in the West just pretends it is all as pure as undriven snow.
Who has the greater right for intervention? Russia borders the Ukraine, the Russian language is commonly spoken there, several million ethnic Russians live there. Also the Ukraine and Russia have been as closely associated historically as Scotland and England. The USA has no more connection to the Ukraine then Mexico does.
The thinking in the West ; esp US leadership is astonishing lying so hawkish,so irritating .Anyway I like the way the Russians have stopped them on their tracks leaving them with bruised egos
I love it. The West so used to getting their way, pushing around this little country or that one, meanwhile in steps the Bear, who says "not so fast" to the regime change machine which has been killing so much and looting like mad in the last 10 years.

Russia has done very well in standing up against the Bury US and people all over the world are happy about this.
The US is the king of all meddlers, and whenever they accuse the other side of doing something, you can be almost certain that's what the US is doing…especially if you hear it from propaganda bullhorns like WaPo or NYT, among others.

The Kiev appointed oligarchs in eastern Ukraine paid for the mercs. It will be interesting to see if the 300 (perfect number!) in Donetsk storm the building where the protestors are holed up in the next 24 hours. Risky business if Russian special forces are already in country and since the army is just a few miles away across the border.
