In comments made on Thursday, Libyan government spokesman Mussa Ibrahim revealed that the Gadhafi regime has been arming civilians around their controlled areas in preparations for resisting a NATO ground invasion.
“Many cities have organized themselves into squads to fight any possible NATO invasion,” Ibrahim revealed, adding that if NATO invaded “we will make it 10 times as bad as Iraq.”
While NATO members have been pushing for the escalation of the war, it does not appear a ground invasion is impending. The UN resolution which NATO used as a pretext for the war explicitly forbids ground troops from occupying Libyan territory.
At the same time, a separate UN effort to provide humanitarian relief is underway. The European Union is said to be considering 1,000 ground troops for Libya as part of this UN plan.
It is truly a shame that Obama and Hillary Clinton calling themselves democrats.., in the other hand I never heard them using the word nor for that matter Bill Clinton.., yet they belong to a political party called or perhaps only named “Democratic” to be the opposite of Republican.., and I think I am correct when I say that.., because in practical terms non of the two parties is practicing anything for people or for republic – people…, everywhere you look you need to pay and or work your ass off to get to a point where the government pays you a maximum of $1200 dollars per months to live for.., what happened to my rest of the taxes that I paid working for 60 years.., did it went for the costs of 60 years of war or did it went for the subsidies and tax brakes to Oil companies. I am sure we might not have access to internet soon due to N D A A B i ll and internet 2 to contend with, but I wanted to talk to somebody in another country, because I wanted to know what is going on over there and if it is same thing here, because media portrays it differently than what is truth and I am sick inside my heart for people everywhere.
