Saudi coalition forces are carrying out a flurry of airstrikes against camps around the Yemeni capital city of Sanaa. They have warned civilians to avoid Houthi-held camps, saying they will be attacked.
The attacks appear to have been a response to the latest Houthi attack
against the Saudis. Houthi officials reported a bomb-laden drone was
launched against a Saudi oil field,and had set a fire, doing some
damage.
Saudi and coalition planes have been pounding northern Yemen, including
the capital, for five years now, and it is unclear how substantial any
military camp near the capital is would be anymore.
At any rate, there have as yet been no reports on casualties in the
latest series of attacks, but the Saudis are likely to continue
attacking, as it has been their consistent policy for five years.
Those pricks can bomb civilians until the cows come home, it won’t make a lick of difference. You can’t kill your way out of a quagmire. Just ask Nixon and Charles de Gaulle. They share a condo in hell.
