Speaking to Japanese Premier Abe Shinzo during a visit to Tokyo, John
Bolton ddeclared that North Korea’s recent short-range missile tests were in violation of UN Security Council resolutions.
Bolton wasn’t very specific, though UN Security Council resolutions ban
almost anything North Korea could conceivably do, so it probably is the
case that even short-range missile tests are banned.
But while President Trump downplayed the tests as not a big deal, Bolton
pushed them as a huge violation that proved US sanctions must stay in
place, and perhaps more concerning, that the “repeated pattern of
failures” needs to be stopped.
Bolton, of course, has long advocated military confrontation with North
Korea, and has never been very favorable to diplomatic efforts. He
appears keen to present the tests as just another sign that diplomacy
doesn’t work with North Korea, allowing him to offer an alternative
solution.
“Bolton wasn’t very specific”
Bolton is never specific; to be specific, he would need facts, which he never has or never uses.
He just flings feces on the wall just to see what sticks to satisfy his PAC contributors and paymasters.
Bolton invokes UN authority, we are indeed in the end times!
The only end times will be when the sun envelops the earth.
Which part? We are well within the Sun’s influence. Earth’s atmosphere, magnetic and gravitational fields are constantly interacting with old Sol.
Are you being mystical?
North Korea is obviously taking lessons from the Israelis on how to ignore UN resolutions.
What? The USA is the culprit, with Israel, not DPRK ;
Our military attacks on mulitiple nations violates the rules of civilized nations, common sense, and professions about being for peace.
If the original reason for the rapprochement between North Korea and the US was to allow Washington concentrate on Iran first, to avoid possible conflict on two fronts simultaneously, John Bolton ought to be cautious about the risk of over-stretch. History shows nations can delude themselves: realizing too late they are fighting the war they needed to avoid.

How long is Trump going to tolerate the mustache?
I hope someone will explain elaborately on antiwar. com why the USA can’t live without wars. It can’t be just a few bad people’s design.
Of course,Bolton would care greatly about UN resolutions, being devoted to the UN, to international law and to the USA behaving fairly to all other nations. His decades of “public service” make this clear. Peace is on the way!!
