In a 23-8 vote, the UN Human Rights Council voted Friday to endorse a report on Israel’s treatment protests along the Gaza Strip, which determined that the government’s actions amounted to war crimes against civilians in Gaza.
The report itself was published in late February,
and found that Israel intentionally shot both children and journalists
in the Gaza Strip during those protests. They noted that 154 out of 183
people killed at the time had been unarmed.
Israeli officials insisted at the time the report came out that the
killings amounted to the “right of self-defense and the obligation to
defend its citizens and borders.” Israeli officials now say the only
supporters of the resolution are dictatorships and “hypocrites.”
Other UNHRC resolutions, also opposed as “absurd” by Israel, included an
endorsement of the right of Palestinian self-determination, and
criticism of Israeli abuses in the occupied territories, and one on the
illegality of Israeli settlements.
Why does this sound familiar? Oh well.
Time to stop paying dues to the UN and send them packing
Right. Send them home…and send the Palestinians home too…oh, wait….
send them to Brazil or Portugal
Send the Israelis home to Russia and Poland. The Palestinians would go home to Palestine
Well, except that 70% of the Israelis are from Palestine, not Russia and Poland.
Yes. All those non Ashkenazis who created the Zionist movement. All those non Ashkenazis who have served as prime minister. All those famous Israelis who are not Ashkenazi. Maybe you could name some of these famous Israeli Jews whose lineage is not from Europe or Russia for us Mr. Knapp.
Most of the Palestinian Jews are, IIRC, Ashkenazis. Their parents or grandparents or great-grandparents may have been from somewhere else, but they’re from Palestine. They were born there and they’ve never lived anywhere else. They’re Palestinian natives.

Because their parents or grand-parents violently expelled the Palestinians they are entitled to keep the land and the stolen homes? Should they not be forfeited as the proceeds of a crime?
How far back in your ancestry before it gets to your ancestors violently expelling the natives here in America? Are you to blame for their actions? Are you American, or are you from whatever hellhole they happen to have been from?
So I come to your house and expel you at gun point and occupy your house. How soon do you lose all rights to get your house back? Immediately? Like the Palestinians did? Or not until my kids are born in the house — is it at that point that the house is legitimately mine? Or my grand-kids? How is it that these Jews are entitled to the land because they think they are related to people who lived there for short-time 2,000 years ago — but the Palestinians have no claim whatsoever? But since I live in a land stolen by Euros in the centuries before I was born by people I am not related to I should accept the Jewish claims to Palestine? The usual Knapp “logic”.
All of the questions you are asking are indeed relevant. The only “Knapp ‘logic'” involved was to point out that they are indeed questions that create more work to to sustain your assertions than you’re putting into those assertions.
You confuse facts with assertions. On purpose?
Perhaps your assertions are facts.
But usually if someone demands that their assertions be accepted without proof, it means that they can’t offer the proof.
Is it an assertion and not a fact that Israeli expelled hundreds of thousands of Palestinians using violence and the threat of violence?
That’s a fact.
Your assertion that I believe that “since [you] live in a land stolen by Euros in the centuries before [you were] born by people [you are] not related to [you] should accept the Jewish claims to Palestine,” on the other hand, is not a fact. It’s an assertion. And it’s not only an evidenceless assertion, it’s a false assertion.
That’s not a fact or an assertion. That’s pointing out how ridiculous the argument is that the Zionists make and you seem to be going along with.
Not the first time you’ve made it clear that logic isn’t your strong suit.
Never admit when you’ve been caught in yet another lie, do you?
Every time.
Maybe one day I’ll lie where you’re in a position to notice, and then you can enjoy catching me. But I doubt it, so I guess you’ll just have to keep faking it and hope that one day you actually make it.
Even the fish in the barrel knows it has been shot. A skill that escapes Mr. Knapp.
Missed your morning thorazine, huh?
You really have to fire your writers and hire someone new
While I do occasionally hire writers, I do so only for subjects that rate new material. That’s … not you.
All Palestinians are from Palestine. When can they go home? And, admit it. Zionism was created solely in Europe, Russia, and America by Ashkenazi Jews. The Arab Jews living in the ME had nothing at all to do with its creation. And if you are a 1st or 2nd generation Israel Jew living on stolen land, and often in stolen homes (thanks to the violence and terrorism of your parents or grandparents, you have no moral or ethical right to continue to do so. Stop enabling these racists
The reality of the world is that Israel exists, and is not going to go away. The Palestinians are not going to go away.both sides want it all
Arafat was born in Egypt. Some Palestinians are descendants of people who migrated into the area in the 1900’s for economic reasons. Some lived there for centuries. There were some Jews who lived there for centuries. Some Jews migrated and bought land. some Jews are descendants of people who were abused and expelled fro their homes in the Arab lands. It is a terrible thing for people to live in refugee camps for 70 years. There was a population exchange, similar to what happened in the Indian subcontinent. To call an entire nation of people racist is simplistic at best. By the way, your nome de plum-“America Firstir” is borrowed from the title of a group of 1930’s no nothing pro nazis
A very small number of Israel’s citizens are “pure” Ashkenazim. The rules for allowing the Russians in from 90s onward seem pretty loose.
Time to stop spending $3.8 billion a year.
Fine-lets end all foreign aide and spend the money on our own people
That’s anti-semitic.
Agree completely.
“Other UNHRC resolutions, also opposed as “absurd” by Israel, included an endorsement of the right of Palestinian self-determination..”
Time to stop spending 3.8 billion a year.
The dreaded curse of Ilhan is spreading!
They have been committing them pretty much non-stop since 1948. Expect a veto by their US lapdogs/puppets.
