NATO commander Gen. Philip Breedlove today urged the alliance to consider “all options” in favor of military aid for Ukraine in the ongoing civil war, despite weeks of ceasefire.
“I’d not think that any tool of the US, or any other nation’s power should necessarily be off the table,” Breedlove insisted. The US general, and top NATO military commander in Europe, has been outspoken in support of arming Ukraine since before the most recent ceasefire.
While Breedlove conceded that arming the Ukrainian military in the middle of a ceasefire was potentially “destabilizing,” he didn’t think that ought to exclude the possibility of doing so.
The Pentagon has been said to generally support such arms shipments, though the administration has so far consented only to non-lethal aid, explicitly saying they didn’t want to undermine the ceasefire.

Breedlove should be informed that Russia is no 3rd rate military power, and that "the table" is not the exclusive property of the United States.

Putin is basically trapped. As long as the ceasefire holds, there is no immediate need to arm Ukraine. If Putin breaks his word (yet again!), then there will be no rwal alternative to arming Ukraine. Equally, once Putin withdraws his mercenaries nand Ukraine takes back possession of its sovereign territory, then Ukraine will certainly need to be armed up to NATO standards so as prevent Putin simply pulling the same stunt in the future. Thus, by acting as he has, Putin has made unavoidable, in practical terms, the very thing he claimed he wanted to avoid: Ukraine in NATO. I would have said that no Soviet leader ever did anything so stupid, which is true, but since Putin hosted a meeting of European far right parties yesterday, including German neo-nazis, we can safely conclude that he is certainly not a closet communist!

The old tactic of personalizing conflicting policies with other nations. It always helps with that old propaganda tactic to denigrate a leader of a nation we are at odds with to represent a country with a capital city that starts with a "B". That way the propagandists always resort to use of the term "butcher", as in "the butchers of Beijing", the Butcher of Baghdad or the Butcher of Belgrade.
We are sticking our nose into Russia's sphere of influence, not the other way around. We are there, they aren't here. These armchair empire builders have weird dreams of believing we can actually control the whole world.

Congress has passed a resolution asking Obama to send weapons to Ukraine.There is another conflict starting now between Kolomoyskii and Poroshenko. Arms will arrive in another arrising civil war : between clans of oligarchs.It is time for Europ to wake up and send aggressive USA somewhere.
