Yesterday’s loss of 21 Syrian Kurdish villages has been greatly compounded today, with monitors now saying 60 villages have been withdrawn from by Kurdish forces amid the latest ISIS push toward Ayn al-Arab.
Kurdish officials confirmed that ISIS is using US-made artillery and tanks in the new push, and has turned much of the Kurdish-held part of Aleppo into a warzone. Though they would not confirm number of villages lost, one Kurdish official did say about 100 villages have been evacuated of civilians because of the fighting.
ISIS has tried to capture the important city of Ayn al-Arab several times in the past. It is along the Syria-Turkish border and would expand their number of border crossings, though the Kurdish factions in Syria have put up a tough fight, courting Turkish Kurds to join the battles to defend the city.
Having successfully taken all of Raqqa and Deir Ezzor Provinces, ISIS is keen to expand into the neighboring areas, and is mostly pushing against the remaining Kurdish territory in the north right now, as the also try to expand territory in central Iraq.
That's total of 82 villages given up by Kurdish fighters in the area. As I look at the map the villages in questions are just south of Turkish border, if not inside the Turkish territory, either way ISIS is trying to open a new gate and keep the gates that they already agreed to be open by Turkish Erdogan government, my next qyestion is: who are these "monitors", are they from ISIS themselves reporting to certain news agency, or are they from Turkish side inside syrian territory "monitoring"?
Turkish government is up its neck involved in Syria, ISIS couldn't get its hands on 80 villages where 60.000 Kurdish people are running for their life into Turkey, if Turkish government wanted to bomb ISIS along with others. At first Turkish regime refused to let these people in, later however they opened the border letting the new wave of Kurdish refugees into Turkey. Erdogan government is been behind ISIS development, knowingly with their masters seating in Saudi arabia and UAE letting ISIS to create a new caliphat regime in Syria. Once again if nothing, the oil black market Turkish, EU, US mafia making tines of money right under Erdogan noise.

given the number of ISIS rebeles, and the number of villages, towns, regions they have captured, one needs to ask how many ISIS does it take to secure territory they caputre? a handful, it seems.
