Obama Administration officials are stepping up the official narrative of an ever-longer and ever more intense war on ISIS, preparing to span borders and preparing the American public for the inevitable insinuation of ground troops.
In that, the administration is desperate to portray ISIS as not only “enemy number one” for the United States, but also an enemy beyond all others in human history, an “apocalyptic” threat that has to be wiped out through sheer force of arms.
Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel sought to portray ISIS as not only a threat to US interests, but an imminent threat to literally every US interest on the entire planet.
Sen. James Inhofe (R – OK), ever eager to take any the most hysterical position out there and trump it, declared ISIS was “rapidly developing a method of blowing up a major US city.”
The goal of portraying ISIS as an unprecedented face of evil in the history of mankind is go explicit at this point that CNN is actually running an op-ed asking whether calling them “evil” is really the scariest word we can come up with, or if there is some other word that will more quickly prepare the public for the protracted war that is now looming over us.
Where this protracted war in Iraq and Syria ultimately takes us in the long-term remains to be seen. In the near-term, we can expect ever more alarming rhetoric, coupled with predictions of ISIS committing some atrocity that would seemingly require wizards to actually pull off as stated.
Setting aside the overblown scary monsters under the bed hype… why exactly is it at this point that any person between, say, Rabat & the Punjab wouldn't be completely justified in wiping out a US city? From whence does the violence come, and has it come for multiple generations? We've rained murder, psychological trauma & worse on the whole region for longer than the average age of people in the region. Americans are extremely fortunate that we're not physically closer to our victims.
Paybacks are… you know the rest.
Would they know that when they started Libya war and its result in jihadist from Qatar, Saudis Arabia, Swedish Libyan, French Libyan and UAE storming Libya for "democracy". One would think that they did learned their deceptive, fradulant politics from the Libyan result, yet they started the Syrian war looking for " moderate". Barack Hussein Obama and us Democratic Party you want democracy start shoveling your own backyard.
A temporary turn of 180 degrees by the neocon hawks

Empire USA — Most deadly, immoral and criminal ever
The Islamic State for the most part has reached it’s expansion goal and in the process done more good then harm by restoring the land boundaries as in times of old and now the healing process may begin.
But not so Empire USA, for our money dictatorship has but one goal, “There is security only in expansion.”
Which is worse..beheading or being buried alive? The MSM and the US government is up in arms and willing to "put boots on the ground". ….to avenge the death of James Foley. in 1991…during Operation Desert Storm, US military reportedly buried 12,000 Iraqi soldiers alive. There was little attention paid to this. No one was punished for this horror.
The pentagon has to have an enemy to justify its budget. A make-believe one will do.
