An airstrike tore through the rebel-held Ukrainian city of Snizhne today, hammering an apartment block and killing 11 civilians. The attack appeared to be part of the ongoing Ukrainian military offensive against rebel territory.
Yet after the reports of civilian casualties emerged, Ukraine immediately changed its story and began claiming that Russia, who is backing the rebels, for some reason launched an airstrike against their own allies.
It’s part of a growing war of words between Ukraine and its much larger neighbor, and after months of fearing a Russian invasion, Ukraine is now trying to portray virtually everything that happens in the east as direct Russian military intervention.
Russia, by contrast, remains angry about a cross-border shelling by the Ukrainian military, which killed a civilian over the weekend. The assumption is it was a misfire from Ukraine’s artillery, though the Ukrainian military, unwilling to admit anything happens on accident, claims the whole incident never happened at all.
The US remains on board for whatever position Ukraine takes, and is said to be preparing a new round of sanctions against Russia to punish them for “threatening moves” against Ukraine.
The last weekends moon being closer to the earth is the job of Russian, they have created a such moment where Russian can study more of moon without traveling there? Hitler fascism regime was blaming everything and everyone when he was losing the war, actually he was doing it even when he was wining the war, but most of the time he was blaming USSR, or if you will Russia.
Of course, emboldened by their financiers and liars in the West, they too now learned to parrot the lines that it's all Putin's fault, all the time.
I can't wait for all this to become too much for Putin and for him to put his foot down, enough is enough and retake Donetsk and Luhansk before that ignorant oligarch butchers more Russians there. Putin is trying to ingratiate himself with the West for no reason. They're no going to give up or give in. They never take back the lie they let loose or change the false narrative. He's already been demonized and ridiculed. He might as well take advantage and act it out, take back those two provinces and give the Ukrainians a Salaskashvilian pouncing. And then watch these violent bozos in the the West shut up for good. Since Western foreign policy has been israelized, the only thing that works with them is a couple of slaps around the face to make them come back to their senses.
@Rick, I definitely share your concerns but here's some good analysis:

Good articles.
The issue remains that Putin is betting on the good will of the Europeans. And that's a mistake. It's been shown again and again that European "leaders" are nothing but US puppets.
Russia don't want to confront NATO escalating war into other part of Europe, in the other hand USG love this to happen, they are simply waiting for such a move. Barack Hussein Obama foreign policy have created disasters for people in Middle East and in Ukraine, if not all over the world, his policies based on Islamization and militarization of Middle East by supporting ISIS and other stone aged religious system that want to turn the clock back to 600EC and militarization of Europe is his agenda. He also paving the way for next president to continue what is Paul Wolfowitz doctrine and all other Zionist entity in USA. Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush are the other half of that idea, Barack Hussein Obama was elected when he managed to fool the left leaning middle class and other intellectuals in general which indicates how desperate left movement is to have a functioning democracy established in USA, hopefully this time around they won't be fooled by the emblem of us Democratic Party, because there is mo democracy ever existed nor it will, US Democratic Party or for that matter, Republican Party is run by far right warmongers and Neo fascism.
It's a sickening propaganda war. There's no proof Russia is militarily backing the rebels, as far as I know. Mentally yes, there may even be Russian citizens there (of ukrainian background or not), but militarily, no.
If Russia seriously supported the rebels, there would not be 500 000 Ukrainians who have left the country, of which som tens of thousands have applied for refugee status already.
Relax, all is well.
Donbass militia communique, 2:42 a.m., local time, July 16.
"Junta has finally lost all initiative across the entire military theatre. The complete routing of the southern cauldron is almost fait accompli. The defeat of the punitive forces near Lugansk is obvious to everyone. Accordingly, in the nearest days we can expect a sweep of the southern border and attempts to complete the sweep of the Lugansk and the Donetsk airports. After all the trophies are put to use [by the Militia], the forces of the Militia and the punitive army will, at the very least, become equal (over the last two days, our heavy armour forces have been “replenished” to the tune of dozens of units), which will enable us to commence wide scale offensive operations."
Still, later at 5 a.m., local time the militia launched a massive offensive against the neo-Nazi National Guard in Eastern Ukraine.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if the attack was carried out by mercenaries operating from Russian territory, possibly even the same ones who popped up in Crimea. As the rebel cause fails, their last chance is to provoke a Russian invasion, thus, lobbing shells into Russia, having Ukrainian planes shot down from Russian territory or launching false-flag air strikes would be the sort of despearte throws of the dice that one would expect and military contractors are well capable of doing all those things, even if the rebel colonists themselves are not. I don't think Putin is fool enough to invade Ukraien. By annexing Crimea, he violated Articles III and IV of the Helsinki Final Act and further invasions or annexations would be a further violation. As a party to the Helsinki Accords, that would justify a US attack on him even though Ukraine isn't a NATO member. No Soviet leader ever did anything so stupid and I don't think even Putin will try it either.
"As the rebel cause fails, their last chance . . ." Why not join the rest of us in the real world?
At this hour, the Donbass militia has closed the ring in the "Southern Cauldron," trapping thousands
of Ukrainian who are fleeing or being systematically eliminated. Elsewhere, in Lugansk, the Ukrainian army is in headlong retreat and the airport held by UKR troops is encircled. UKR troops also encircled at the Donetsk airport. UKR army is in total collapse; no need for Putin to lift a finger.
Washington's obscenity knows no bounds. You bought it, Ukraine.
