The West Bank as the Palestinians see it keeps getting smaller and smaller.
The latest out of the peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority is that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has added an entire new bloc of settlements to the list of territories he intends to keep in any peace deal.
The newest bloc is on the outskirts of Ramallah, the major Palestinian city that is the de facto capital of the Palestinian Authority. Netanyahu reportedly also told the Palestinians that he will not be offering 1:1 land swaps for the settlement and the surrounding area.
Netanyahu reportedly insists that the biblical book of Genesis is his justification for keeping the settlement bloc around Beit El, which makes it even less clear why he is all of a sudden issuing new demands.
With the new settlement blocs added, Israel now intends to annex a minimum of 13% of the West Bank, and is only considering giving the Palestinians a fraction of that amount in Israeli territory in exchange. The Palestinians have reportedly rejected the demand, but that doesn’t seem to have changed the Israeli perspective that Beit El is now “part of the deal.”
The Israelis won't stop.
They leave not other alternative but one state for all its residents, with equal rights and full citizenship for all. No Jewish State, any more than Bull Connor could have a White State in Alabama.
That is not what they say they want, but it is nonetheless what they are creating.
The 'Peace Talk' is about Israel extracting its thieving illicit, apartheid cult from Palestinian land. It is not about US taxpayers $$$ shelling out more money to fund more Israeli land thievery.
Israel must not be compensated for years of thumbing its nose at the wishes of the Int. Comm. and blatantly ignoring numerous UN violations.

As long as the USA helps Israel to spin out the "peace talks", soon the Palestinians who still survive will fit under he one remaining olive tree not chopped down.
Just as the Indonesian massacre of East Timor stopped in the late 1990s simply by the US removing support, so too would the Israeli ethnic cleansing campaign against Palestine if the US removed its massive, massive support and backing.
Alas, the US doesn't want to piss off and maybe lose its outlaw nuclear military attack base in the Middle East, so it allows the ethnic cleansing to go on.
Control over resources and money are of course more important than human rights and war crimes, if you're a Washington politician.
