With Western nations railing about the former and ignoring the later, the Russian Foreign Ministry today called for the UN to conduct a “impartial investigation” into both the weekend killings in Daraya and the funeral bombing yesterday in Damascus.
“Moscow decisively condemns these barbaric acts of violence,” the statement insisted, adding that they believe such a probe would be a good challenge for the newly opened UN office in Damascus.
Rebels have put the death toll in Daraya at ever-rising levels since Sunday night, starting with “at least 371” and then claiming it could have been 600 or even more in later estimates. With no independent probe, its impossible to say.
Likewise, the rebels have downplayed the car bombing against the funeral procession of two pro-Assad activists yesterday in Damascus, claiming that they figure the regime probably did it themselves for some inscrutable reason.
This is a bad situation. The media not only blindly accepts anything they're told (which is nothing new), they've now demonstrated they're willing to produce and standby patently absurd "stories" which defy all logic and common sense…'stories'' relying mainly on sources with obvious conflicts of interest when it comes to disseminating "truth". It seems as though virtually across the board, and even extending beyond what's generally recognized as the lame-stream "media", people have proven themselves to be either unwilling and/or incapable of employing even the most basic critical thinking skills. Are these people truly retarded, or is it that they simply do not care and/or have absolutely no integrity whatsoever? I would have assumed the lame-stream, in general, would have treated this whole Syria 'situation' with a bit more seriousness simply out of fear of losing all credibility… I was wrong.
Everything 'bad' that happens in Syria is automatically blamed on Assad personally-seemingly no matter what happens. It's as if Assad is somehow everywhere in Syria, at all times, and micromanaging everything. Why would Assad personally order a 'massacre' of civilians for no apparent reason…especially at this time? This does not make sense. I do not think Assad is a stupid person. He would know this would only cause problems for him and hurt him politically both domestically and internationally. The rebels actually have an "incentive" to carry something like this out in order to frame Assad (especially considering the fact they would know, based on experience, their 'side' of the 'story' would be unquestioned and blindly accepted to be true by the Western lame-stream and politicians)–as it politically reinforces their cries for "intervention" from international powers by meeting, yet another "international war crime" standard. I believe the "rebels" were even making allusions to this….
The lame-stream now automatically accepts and/or believes Assad will act in ways diametrically opposed to his self-interests, and yet not entertain for even a second the 'possibility' this could have been the work of the group with an actual incentive to carry it out (ie the "rebels)–a group who also, coincidentally, happens to be the primary "source" of the 'facts' 'reported' in the first place???
This is beyond insane…
I can't wait for the absurdity in the run up for the Iran war…
There are people who are trying to side line the facts about Syria war, look there is no conflict in Syria, there is war conducted by the barbarians from Saudi Arabia and those whom are known terrorists from other countries, most of these groups are supported by France, England, US and Turkey which is NATO member, Jordan which is a country on the edge of collapse and US state department have bet on the regime change in Syria government or Syrian war will continue as long as Hillary Clinton have her bet on the issue in place.
Look; we said that from day one that this is a proxy war and is orchestrated both from US and EU, some government play a roll here and there but the scenario is from Washington, US wants to have its agendas in place, either is about Israel or about Iran. Russia and China gaining economic and political power in the region, beside US – Israel and EU no one wants to have war in middle east, the Egyptians Muorsi have made it clear by traveling to China and Iran, Turkey is a servant to Israel and EU in general, Saudis and UAE regimes are the worse in the region and the loser in all that games that orchestrated by US and EU, because they are the one that supporting the barbarians in one hand and in the other buying all that weapon from US and EU, in another word, they are totally dependent on US and EU so they have to go along with what White House or Black House in England tells them, and that goes for Turkey as well. US and EU militarism regime,or if you will, US military complex cannot afford losing the biggest market (Saudi-UAE + Turkey=Israel) so they need to have this or other wars after another. They need Saudis and UAE to supply them with Oil and gas for the Ships and war plains when they start the war with China or any other country in Pacific Ocean.
The FSA (Free Syrian Army) is consist of 8000-10000 runaway solders and officers, people whom are supporting the opposition/s are 100.000 to 500.000 at most, that is out of 25-30 million people living in Syria, the opposition therefore don't have the majority support of Syrian people nor FSA has, which is the reasons for all that terrorist groups coming into country fighting for what they have no idea what is about, they just want to have a war where they can on their god, here, Turkish government as well as Jordanians and others get involved because they getting paid one way or other, to have this payment they need to help out which makes this war a proxy war, a war in terms of terrorist attacks that getting worse by the day and is not winnable by FSA and their affiliated terrorist groups, if it was they would have won it by now.
Look, Syria brought peace to Lebanon, Syrian government is elected by the Syrian people, there is democracy in Syria as there is democracy in US or any other democratic country in this world, yet nothing is perfect as in US or EU. Syrian sacrificed portion of their land supporting Palestinians, and they left Lebanon when it was secured and were asked to leave, now the very same regimes of the west hand in hand with Saudis and Turkish government that is serving Israel and Zionism agendas in the regions want to destroy Syria because Hillary Clinton, Sarkozi or Holland or Angela Markell or the Swedish Neo Liberal Fascist and Barak Hussein Obama have said so, now tell me if FSA have any legitimate argument beside being bunch of kids wanting to play with big boys from WDC, the Chicago and Paris or London Mafia for that matter.
Look, day by day the word democracy looks more ill then yesterday because the functioning concept of the word is no longer there, the US war machinery is taking over and thats why democracy is sick.
Syria has done a lot of good in the region. Mainstream coverage of the Lebanon civil war usually casts Syria as the villain, when actually Syria intervened in 1976 at the request of the Leb govt, – whose army had broken-up into warring militias after the US and Israel-supported Nazi Phalangists had murdered Palestinian refugees at Tel Zatar and much of the ruling Franjieh and Chamoun families. Syria brought the civil war to a halt pretty quickly, and then Israel promptly invaded in 1978 to start it again. That pattern was repeated with a vengeance in 1982.
Syria received around a million Sunni, Shi-i and Christian refugees from the US made disaster in Iraq. I never heard of any gratitude Syria got from the media or any of the coalition of the willing for that, although the CIA puppets in Jordan were lavishly praised and supported for doing much less.
Syria also took-in over 300,000 Kurds fleeing Turkey – a country where, until very recently, it was illegal to even speak the Kurdish language in public or to wear Kurdish-style clothing. During that period of Kurdish persecution in US ally Turkey, US "enemies" Syria and Iraq provided bilingual educational systems from kindergarten to college for their Kurdish regions.
Syria has been a hero in the region rather than a villain.
It ended the Lebanese Civil War within two years of being asked to do so by the Lebanese government…and then Israel invaded in 1978 to restart the war; a pattern that was repeated in 1982.
It took-in over 300,000 Kurdish refugees from Turkey. In Syria, as in Iraq, Kurds benefitted from a bilingual school system. Compare that to Turkey, where it was illegal to even speak Kurdish in public
Approximately a million Iraqis of all ethnic and sectarian groups fled the violence US-occupied Iraq. I don't recall any great expressions of gratitude from the US government or western media for that.
And, of course, Syria has refused to normalize relations with Israel until the legitimate rights of the Palestinians have been addressed to the Pals' satisfaction..
.
"Egypt's Mohamed Morsy called President Bashar al-Assad's government "an oppressive regime that has lost its legitimacy." He said backing the opposition is "a moral obligation, and a political and strategic step that comes in our belief of a new independent Syria."
As we said before, anything and anyone and any government that have something to do with Socialism of some kind needs to be destroyed, that was Bill Clinton, Madeline Albright and EU neo Fascism governments when they started Balkan war accusing the socialist system of Yugoslavia with every kind of lies that they could. In this regard they even slept with Sunny MUslims from Kosovo Hashim Taci' the head of the Balkan Mafia to achieve their goal. We also indicated that they are dividing the world by the region so that independency of any country is to be limited. The Egypt muslim brotherhood although on the surface shows its "religious kind of democracy", but in reality is against all kind of functioning democracy or socialism in every aspects of the word, therefore is either looking to be recognized as the NEW POWER in the region by China and Russia or wanting to show what they want to replace the Syrian governing system; therefore they are going after Assad. It is also possible that Morsy been told by Saudis and UAE that they will not get any penny out of them unless they support their cause wanting to obey Hillary Clinton idea in changing the Syrian government to something like them, a religious sectarian regime based on the law of Islam.
Look, we said that from day one, all this is a religious wars, from Balkan to Afghanistan to Iraq and all over Africa, is not about democracy nor is about people, the very same systems are working for Vulture capitalism one way or the other, look at Libya, the war was about democracy and being independent, there is no freedom nor there is a democracy, so it goes for Tunis and Etc. Libya has become another US and NATO militarism base, Tunis and Morocco having the social political problems, and in US and EU police are dressed in military gears – uniform and U are watched every where you go, now tell me what happened to Western Democracy, are we there yet….?
