An Israeli drone strike hit a civilian car in central Gaza on Thursday, killing at least two Palestinians, medical sources told the Anadolu Agency, as the IDF continues its relentless attacks across the Strip.
The car was bombed near the entrance of the al-Maghazi refugee camp, and at least one other person was wounded. Footage of the aftermath shows the burnt wreckage of the car and blood on the street.
Later in the day, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that an Israeli drone struck a group of Palestinians near a school in northern Gaza, east of Jabalia, killing at least one person, bringing Thursday’s death toll to at least three.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said in its daily update, released about midday Gaza time, that over the past 24 hours, Israeli attacks killed at least six Palestinians and wounded 38. Attacks on Wednesday included the Israeli bombing of a government checkpoint in southern Gaza where commercial trucks are screened. The Gaza Government Media office said four government employees were killed in the strike.
The ministry said that since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025, the IDF has killed at least 1,574 Palestinians and wounded 5,687. The toll includes only Palestinians killed by direct military violence and not indirect deaths caused by the continued Israeli siege.
The Health Ministry also said on Thursday that dozens of Palestinians have died while waiting for medical evacuations to be approved. “The number of patients and injured people who are in urgent need of travel and registered on waiting lists is approximately 21,468 cases, of which 6,430 are candidates and have priority for travel,” the ministry said.
