A WikiLeaks released cable from March 2009 related a conversation between Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former Australian Prime Minister (currently Foreign Minister) Kevin Rudd on the issue of China. Incredibly, it included the Aussie PM urging the US to prepare for an aggressive war against the world’s most populous nation.
Rudd, who described himself as a “brutal realist on China,” said the US ought to issue an ultimatum to China to implement a European-style “social safety net.” Noting China has lent the US enormous amounts of money she asked “how do you deal toughly with your banker?”
Rudd’s answer is somewhat shocking, as he said the US should get ready to attack China over the issues, saying Australia was focusing on upgrading its navy to combat China regionally. Rudd also provided the embassy with a copy of a 2008 speech arguing that a clash of civilizations between China and the West was inevitable.
Most of the revelations from WikiLeaks have been met with denials and feigned outrage from officials, but Minister Rudd proudly took credit for the comments in the cable, saying it was perfectly in keeping with the Australian national interest to press the US for military aggression against China. He added that he would continue to push this position as Australia’s Foreign Minister.
What a wacko.
He no wacko, he very truthful about racist desires of new Evil Empire, he thinks WASP is the master race.
I went to a public meeting with our local congresswomen at the time a few years back (in Virginia's 2d district.) She said we (as in the U.S.A.) is looking ahead and is preparing for war against China. I was shocked at the time she said it. Low and behold, verify for yourselves, the U.S. Navy is also upgrading and building new ships in anticipation for that.
Agreed to the trend in Washington. Right in the very midst of the "Axis of Evil" implementations, an old CIA analyst and beltway "consultant", high school pal of my better half, who normally lives in a state of high anxiety about Israel and such (worried for), pronounced that it was really China (uber alles) that we had to fear (he never considered it was fear itself – his and those adrenalin junkies like him – that we had to fear).
PS: Need I add that this guy also lived near the Beltway, in Virginia, where there is definitely something funny in the water.
Incredibly stupid……..of you Rudd,go save your ass from being ashed soon by Brits.
One good reason why Wikileaks is so valuable: it shows the "primary processing" of war plans, before the "incident", before the propaganda about what a lousy society the target country has, before the "causes" are created. Short of watching Henry V for tips on how power is wielded, this is the next best thing. No wonder peace has no chance.
And, I suppose, this clown never absorbed the message of his own countryman, Neville Shute in "On the Beach" – even Aussies are not immune to fallout.
Yes, I'm sure that the US would have to be involved into a war against China, if they want to stay the only superpower. However, they still try to get India to do the dirty job. It would be much easier and would take care of both, since India would be the next rival to the US after China is gone. India should be very ware of that fact that much of the US friendliness today may come with a bitter taste tomorrow. IMHO, the Russians will no longer be a threat in about 10 years.
I agree and feel pitty for India but at the same time I strongly believe that India is more wiser than that…or else USA will have to wait few thousand years to see this happen..India teaching China a lesson..haha…ha.

ROFLMFAO, USA attack China? Man, they cannot handle Afghanistan and somebody wants them to attack 1,25 billion people?
Where do these armchair warmongers get their nerve "requesting" that the US attack China and Iran? We have enough problems trying to curb the warmongers in Congress without having to fend off foreigners who see the US military as their hired gun. Is this what international relations is all about? Vive Wikileaks!
There is preparation for this attack in subtle ways. Today in the US it is not permissable to say anything good about China – neither on the Left nor the Right – but especially not on the liberal "Left."
This sort of demonization is in itself a preparation for conflict and war.
John V. Walsh
Funny with all this talk about China is a threat…. it is one country that has never attacked another country in history, only defended.
Furthermore, if China decides to call the debt US owe… well, there will be no US, economically wise….
