Israeli forces continued to carry out heavily airstrikes against southern Lebanon today, with locals reporting airstrikes, drone strike and artillery shelling across the region, with attacks reported as far north as Nabatieh al-Fawqa, a town that has repeatedly come under fire of late.
Mayfadoun was also under particularly severe targeting, with Israeli drones firing into the residential neighborhood of al-Rajm, and artillery shelling reported around the outskirts of town throughout the day.
Khiam, a village in the Marjayoun District, was the site of a massive explosion, presumed to be part of the ongoing demolitions in the area. The IDF did not commented on this matter, however.

Elsewhere in the farthest south of Lebanon, the UNIFIL reported multiple Israeli strikes over the course of the weekend. They also added that the IDF repeatedly restricted UN peacekeeper activity in the south, including blocking logistics from resupplying their facilities.
A lot of the activity in the south continues to center around the olive harvest, with a Lebanese Army statement noting they had accompanied residents from Rachaya Al-Foukhar to the harvest. This is noteworthy because recent reports have had the IDF severely limiting harvests from other villages, and preventing them for seeking Lebanese Army accompaniment.
Meanwhile, surrounding the recent seizure of explosives by the Lebanese government, a judge has summoned two Hezbollah officials to explain the shipment. Hezbollah is demanding the return of the explosives, citing the ongoing war.
