Iran Triggers Nuclear Deal Dispute Mechanism

Says Britain, France, and Germany not living up to commitments

After months of the US trying to get an EU dispute mechanism going on the Iran nuclear deal, Iran has actually triggered it themselves, according to EU diplomats.

Iran is saying that Germany, France, and Britain are not living up to their commitments under the deal. This is a series of major sanctions relief that those nations were obliged to give Iran, but which the US sanctions have prevented them from doing so.

The EU tried to come up with mechanisms for getting around the US, but so far have’nt succeeded. Iran says they want everyone to make a sincere effort on the matter before they decide where to go from here.

This has been a long time coming, as nations have made a lot of promises to Iran on a workaround, and so far have failed miserably. Iran has promised patience, but after years, time is running out.
