Secretary of State John Kerry has departed Israel after another round of unsuccessful efforts to kickstart the peace process. Israel made a big deal of delaying its pending settlement expansion until after Kerry left, but it didn’t take long to get those announcements going today, virtually a moment he departed.
Today’s announcement, only part of an expected new round of expansions, included 272 new apartments, and particularly damning to the peace process, they were in isolated West Bank settlements, not in the major bloc Israel expects to keep in a peace deal.
Anti-settlement NGO Peace Now was quick to criticize the move, saying it was not only a slap in the face to the peace process, but illogical since the new construction is in areas that are obviously not going to be part of Israeli territory in the future.
Israel has repeatedly announced settlement expansions throughout the process, each time after the hawks in Israel’s coalition condemn the idea of a peace deal. The Netanyahu government has argued the expansions are necessary to placate the opponents of the talks.
Backstabbing friends or foe is the same thing and a daily routine practiced by an apartheid regime.
American politicians must be brought to the realization that when Israeli Racists pee in your face, despite what AIPAC demands for access to campaign dollars, mostly recycled US Aid dollars, you do not have to announce that it is raining.
Israel is a failed state, a scam. It is a parasite, living off American taxpayers, the holocaust industry and the diaspora. All that is needed is a wee lad to shout that the Emperor is bare assed for it to fall. At this point a real peace process can begin. Turn off the dollar spigot. It's obvious that Israel continues building "facts on the ground" that make the peace talks a waste of time. This new settlement would not have been proposed if they had any intention of giving it up.

This punch and judy show is not as funny as it used to be. Its approaching being disgusting and is whether one admits it or not harmful to overall US foreign policies. One can imagine other nations concluding that after each visit by Mr. Kerry Israel announces new settlements then its better for Mr. Kerry to stop going to Israel on make believe trips.

Israeli settlements are illegal under international law. The fourth Genenva Convention prohibits an occupying power from exporting it popuation to an occupied territiory or confiscating land in an occupied territory. Settlement expansion is an issue easily resolved by a simple application of international law. It has nothing to do with hatred against Jews as the blackguards at AIPAC would have many believe with the loaded question: "Why should'nt Jews live in the West Bank?"
