Air strikes are escalating and Israel seems to be on the verge of sending a ground invasion force into Gaza Strip. All eyes are on Gaza, but perhaps not Benjamin Netanyahu’s eyes, which remain squarely on Iran.
And indeed, even the escalations against Gaza are looking more and more like part of a broader strategy to sell the public on a future attack on Iran, with officials touting the rag-tag militias in the tiny, besieged strip as Iran’s “front line.”
The war’s ability to shift the Israeli voters dramatically rightward has already been discussed, and right before the election this could impact the next Israeli cabinet meaningfully, piecing together an even more hawkish force.
At the same time, officials are looking to convince the public that the “show of strength” demonstrates military readiness for attacking Iran, suggesting that their ability to bomb a tiny enclave on their border is not materially any different from bombing a massive nation much farther away. How well they can sell the myth of the invincible Israeli military by bombing refugee camps remains to be seen, but could play a major role in shifting voter sentiment back toward a unilateral attack.
If the arab states didn't want war before, they better get ready because it's coming. Israel is on a rampage. Its' about to collapse. It's coming apart at the seams. They can't manage gaza, lebanon is building more and more missiles, syria is falling into the hands of extremists. The only way israel can survive is by launching a major land grab. Israel is gonna war against all the arab states right now.
They aren't the only ones who should look out. How about a nice provocation in the Persian Gulf (or elsewhere). I just cannot wait for all the "buyer's remorse" to be exploited unless Obama does the war-monger thing he's expected to do. Remember the Maine and all that.

So you haven't seen nothing yet, USA and EU, they have a plan for Syria, generals in charge they are asking for 75k solders to invade syria calling it "safe guarding the chemical", they also have a plan for pakistan as well…, just wait and watch the flames grow all over the Middle East. The official noise machine in Israel has already started making sure the people understand that Iran is responsible for the missiles coming out of Gaza. And the US Israeli-mouthpeice MSM has picked up on the mantra, making sure the American people understand that Iran is responsible. But I hope the Israeli people know that attacking the ragtag Hamas militants is vastly different than attacking a much larger and better armed country like Iran – who will do more than toss a few little, poorly aimed firecrackers at the sea or garbage dumps on the outskirts of Tel Aviv. But I think the Israeli people are being fed a steady dose of propaganda just like the American people – the government's version.
Interestingly enough, commenters on Iran's website PressTV were reporting that the weapons were coming from Syria and bore the proud Made in USA label. Go figger, eh?
I believe that if it comes to war with Iran, the blowback will be unpredictable and most likely catastrophic for Israel. The Samson option and other such crazy threats could come into play, depending on how cult-like the society has become. But probably long before any of that, the "haves" will make tracks to somewhere else and leave the poor suckers to face the music they scored.
The most important propaganda seems to be the one which says (while attacking) that one is tired of being victimized and just engaging in an act of desperate self-defense. That some negotiations were happening and were cut short by killing a Hamas leader and obliterating the Palestinian parliament, shows that Israel is "all in" and headed for the ultimate gamble. Unfortunately a lot of innocents on both sides will pay the ultimate price. And the hatred will just keep going for generations after. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they (alone) shall be called children of God. The rest? Meh.
Libya imported rebels won because they got superior weapons. Syria imported rebels are held back by lack of advanced military equipment. Israel should fear that gaza gets advanced military equipment. IED explosive kept out soldier in bases. Israel cannot a long conflict with thousand IDF being killed. Tanks are easy targets to the new IED which is why you do not see tanks in Iraq. They developed much biller trucks only to face much bigger blombs

What part of that describes the caging of civilians inside an open-air prison a few square miles and dropping bombs on them by air, sea and land qualifies as WAR? Seriously, you people need to start kow towing Isreal's propaganda lines and start fighting back fire with fire. This is not a war! This is a slaughter of civilians! A massacre! Start addressing it as such.
