Israeli Rightist NGO Report Details Govt Subsidies for Settlements

The report was meant to “rank” members of the Israeli cabinet and the Knesset based on just how big of a shill they were for the settler movement, but a report from the pro-settler NGO Mattot Arim has also revealed exactly how broad the Israeli government’s policies of subsidizing the settlements in the Occupied West Bank are. The report revealed a number of unpublicized moves by the Knesset to support the growth of the settlements, and praised MKs who played a role in “dampening the attitude of leading countries toward the Palestinian bid for statehood.”

As it is with the unacknowledged (by Israel) nuclear weapons program, the governments subsidizing of the settlements is a no brainer. Of course they're subsidizing them. It's all part of the government's long range plans begun in 1967 to eliminate the Palestinians from the West bank altogether. Israel is not interested in a 2-state solution – never has been. But, that's just this old curmudgeon's opinion…

Oh American tax payer. Your money not only goes to the Zionist military, but also to ethnic cleansing and stealing other peoples land, while your tax paying gives you basically nothing at home.
