I hope that the anti-war allow my comments which are just an attempt to shed light on the issue from a different prospective .I have tried to post before on many occasions but my views were not welcomed.
The town whole hardheartedly and collectively answered Gaddafi call to attack and lay siege t6o Misrata. They believed Gaddafi promises to them they can have port of Misratat and iron and steel mills in the city.their plans backfired, but the long range missiles attacks against Misrata continued to be launched from Tawargha. To put an end to this attacks, fighters from Misrata fought for several days to stop those attacks. When it became apparent to the town people that they and Gaddafi forces lost the battle, they left and went to Sirte,Bany Walid.Fighters from Misrata found the town deserted and empty. They did not depopulate it.Anti-war should avoid sensational reporting that it accuses the main-stream media of being guilty
of.
