A US airstrike against a Taliban splinter group, which killed Mullah Raaz Mohammed Nangyalai, also killed 15 civilians, according to the Independent Human Rights Commission (IHRC) of Afghanistan.
The IHRC went on to say this was a “clear violation of human rights” and issued a report calling on foreign forces to be more careful that civilians aren’t harmed in their military operations.
The US had already admitted to being involved in this attack, but refused to address the dead civilians, saying questions about them should be directed to the Afghan Defense Ministry. They had previously said they were looking into the matter.
Afghan officials had warned, however, that the killing of the Mullah risked weakening government support from locals in the area of the strike, as he was a comparatively popular religious figure.
When will those backward people accept & adopt American values? Bombings will continue until morale improves.
Don Trumpleone: Civilians? Civilians should know better than to be straying into one of our freedom operations.
Reporter: But, Mr. President, you are bombing civilians in a country that the USMIC has been illegally occupying for over 18 years. Do you see a problem with this?
Don Trumpleone: Let me reiterate. Afghan civilians have no right under Operation Kill Them And Set Them Free 10,000 Miles Away From The American Mainland to interfere in a freedom operation. The missile was fired and placed on a vector. Anyone — including Afghan civilians — who strays into that amazing, beautiful, terrific, tremendous, and wonderful vector deserves the blame, not me.
USA – world’s biggest warmonger.
Americans don’t care how many civilians they kill.
Exactly right. THAT is THE problem with Americans — they have become inured to murder.
