In comments on Monday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo claimed that
members of Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro are looking for an exit
strategy, and that it’s inevitable some will decide to stop supporting Maduro.
Pompeo said he was sure the inner circle were asking these questions,
though he offered no actual evidence that this was the case. The US, of
course, has been pushing for regime change in Venezuela for months.
Ponpeo reiterated that the US remains determined to see regime change,
warning Cuba, Iran, and Russia that supporting Maduro is therefore the
“wrong foreign policy.” He says Maduro will eventually be forced out,
and that they would be in “a far better place” if they just accepted the
US position all along.
“We are making the same case to all the parties that are supporting
Maduro,” Pompeo added. Despite his confidence in the inevitability of
regime change, there is no sign any of these nations has even considered
changing their position.
President Pompeo is on a roll. Meanwhile the exonerated moron is holding rallies getting his base riled up about Justin Smollett and locking up Hillary.
Brought to by, the “it’s not my fault” political action committee….
Well how about that timing, Random Guydo and some costumed thugs are attempting an armed insurrection today.
