Officially a conference on the Middle East, the two-day meeting kicking
off Wednesday in Warsaw would be more correctly presented as an
anti-Iran conference. US and Israeli officials have made a point all
week that pushing anti-Iran measures would be the focus of Warsaw.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was very frank about this, calling it an “open
meeting with representatives of leading Arab countries, that are
sitting down together with Israel in order to advance the common
interest of war with Iran.”
Israel has been agitating for a global war against Iran for years, but
apparently felt this was a bit too on the nose, Subsequently, the public
Tweet of the statement was revised to say that they wanted conflict
against Iran, not “war.”
Yet while the US was hoping to sell Europe on cutting off trade with
Iran, the Israeli narrative within the conference was all war, leading
Iranian FM Javad Zarif to conclude that everyone attending the “Warsaw
Circus” now knows where Netanyahu stands.
There is still another day of conference, so it is unclear where all
this will lead. The safe bet is that everyone who went into the meeting
hostile toward Iran will remain so, however, and those not interested in
a military engagement won’t be convinced by the same old rhetoric.
And then all these psychpathic, pathological liars turn around and cry that nobody loves them. And, the people that follow these cretins; is that why baboons have bright red behinds? How they ever made it home without somebody hanging them is beyond me; may they all burn in hell.
The EU has been wary of the US initiatives on Iran, fearing they are mere cover for an intended war. Now Netanyahu confirms their worst fears. We can hope they won’t forget that.
bibi is as corrupt as his wife, both will soon be in jail and they can play war with fase flags behind bars where they belong…
Then the Israeli government will be taken over by even more aggressive politicians of which there are plenty in Israel.
Our governments and to a large extent our nation must have a declared enemy to fear. What are these anti-Iranian diehards afraid of? That Iran becomes a nuclear state? The best way to make that possible more easily is to stop the intrusive IAEA controls.
The fundamental truth about Iranian missiles which can reach Israel but which do not carry nuclear warheads is that these are not only useless, they are suicidal if used against Israel. If our administration worries that our bases and soldiers there may become targets then the rational answer is: get the bases and soldiers out.
Our administrations have been and are still sticking our nose into a battle for hegemony in the region between Saudi Arabia and Iran with Turkey and Egypt in the background. Syria and Iraq hardly count even though both have oil. That is a multi-pronged battle which involves not merely the classic issues of economic and military power but two religions which are apparently unable to make peace. That is a hornet’s nest from which our leaders ought to withdraw our nose.
I believe that the real fear of Iran is twofold: it’s economic power based on oil and it’s appeal to many to overthrow godless regimes such as that of Saudi Arabia. The absence of the separation of religion/church and state is the bane of that region and will remain to be a bane as long as Christian and one Jewish states threaten the Islamic states with overthrow of governments, economic strangulation, and real war.
Got to hand it to bibi. He will continue his effort to insure IDF never fights as long as their is an American kid will to die for his country defending Israel. He will not be happy till WWIII kills all
