Israeli troops dressed like civilians, wheeling another soldier disguised as a pregnant woman, forced their way into a Palestinian hospital in Hebron this morning, killing a Palestinian man they described as a “suspect” before loading the man’s cousin, a patient who they say they were their to question, into the wheelchair and hauling him off to an unknown location.
Hospital director Jihad Shawar slammed the raid, saying that relatives of the slain man and his disappeared cousin are “very angry.” They added that there was no evidence the man the troops killed, who they claim “attacked them,” was armed in the first place.
Israeli military official described every member of the family in question as “known Hamas operatives,” and Shin Bet said that the attack on the hospital was fine because they won’t allow “terror operatives” to feel safe anywhere.
The Red Cross warned that medical personnel need to be able to operate in a safe environment, and be free from military intimidation. They promised to take the latest raid up with Israeli officials “at the appropriate level.”
Such raids have been increasingly common amid the recent crackdown on Palestinians, with Israeli checkpoints making it increasingly difficult for Palestinians to access neighborhood hospitals, and have been pressuring hospital staff to turn over people wounded in military raids.
The Palestine hospital should be feel lucky they were not attacked by the great Satin , where they might have bombed the hospital from the air all night long .
I don't think you were supposed to draw attention to that comparison!
this article says that the Israel describe the killed man as a “suspect” but I cant see that in the original news article link. His cousin was suspected of killing a man but the slain cousin was only suspected of going to the toilet as far as I can see.
What strikes me is the much more measured tone Mr Ditz uses in regard to this hospital attack compared to the "war crimes" discourse adopted in regard to the MSF hospital in Afghanistan (and the almost total silence in regard to the Russian attack on an MSF hospital in Syria). As I keep saying, the propaganda is so flat-footed and laid on so thick that no one could possibly be fooled.
You're absolutely correct. Your propaganda IS so flat-footed and laid on so thick that it fools no one. So why do you spend, apparently, hours per day laying it on so thick? Is someone paying you by the word or something?
The Palestinians need guns to defend themselves against the ongoing aggression committed by Israeli thuggery.
Despite this constant horrendous and of course illegal behavior, the Israeli murderers are supported, armed, flattered, aided, financed and generally praised by the Exceptional Country which sees similarities to itself.
