Ukraine’s Interior Ministry is claiming to have killed at least 30 “terrorists” in the eastern city of Slovyansk, which is under control of protesters and being attacked by Interior Ministry forces.
The death toll is impossible to confirm because of the chaos in the city, but seems to be disputed to varying degrees by protester-linked factions, who have put the toll anywhere between 10 and 25, including many unarmed protesters.
The most recent round of attacks on Slovyansk began Friday, but stalled over the weekend, when troops moved back from the city and began focusing their attention on taking down protester-erected barricades on the outskirts. They reentered the city Monday.
The Defense Ministry is also announcing the creation of a “volunteer” paramilitary organization to help with attacks against protester-held cities, saying the fighters will be paid nearly $1300 a month by a “charity” calling itself Patriot to restore law and order in the region. That is dramatically more than Ukraine’s soldiers are paid, and it is widely expected the volunteers will be from the Right Sector neo-Nazi faction.
So, the broke country that needs bailouts and can't pay its gas bill has the money to pay high wages for mercenary killers to go kill the citizens of their own country. Where that money came from might be an interesting question? Wonder if it has anything to do with all those CIA types walking around? They've had their own unofficial sources of funding since Ollie North was betraying the constitution.
Can't help but wonder if "Patriot" is yet another new name for Blackwater/Xe/Academi. The pay would be a little low for mercenaries (some of Blackwater's mercenaries in Iraq were paid $1,000 per day), but it's a huge increase over the salaries that Right Sector thugs are used to getting, so there will be no shortage of volunteers. It would not be surprising to discover that the killing of unarmed protesters was being financed by US taxpayers through some Blackwater type outfit.
There's almost no question that everything you've suggested is accurate. Here's a comparison between the USA's 1953 Iran coup and its 2014 Ukraine coup, using declassified secret documents from the Iran one and the leaked and openly stated info from the Ukraine one.
Here's a quote from one of the Iran docs:

It's not like the US stopped using these tactics.

Interior ministry "force" simply means mercenaries hired by interior ministry, as blackwater was hired by state department to kill Iraqi people and they are still active all over the world with other name then blackwater. Stat department in translation to English means interior ministry. USA being USA cannot call the state department a interior ministry, interior ministry refers to single country, USA is about 50 states.

People who opposed the armed bands would most likely have kept far away from any trouble, so we can assume that those killed were suppotrers of the rebellion. At that point, the attempt to pass them off as innocent, unarmed civilians who just happened to be going about their daily business in that part of town when the shooting started doesn't stand up to analysis.
The more unarmed, innocent people this illegitimate gov't full of tools, dupes, thugs, oligarchs, racists, skumbags and other assorted lowlives and enemies of freedom kills and incarcerates, the more people of the Ukraine will see what they are truly all about and will rise up.

How come no coverage on Anti-War.com of the alleged fire-bombing by Right-Sector, of a Municipal Building in Odessa? You know, the one that killed 39 anti-government protesters trapped inside the building? That's a pretty big story.
