Amid reports that one of their members was involved in a shooting at a Kiev restaurant, Ukraine’s parliament has voted to disarm “illegal armed groups” in the nation, a move aimed primarily at the ultra-nationalist Right Sector.
The Right Sector played a major role in the violent protests which installed the current interim government, but the group has continued to stir trouble in recent weeks, promising to take a violent revenge on the nation’s Interior Minister over the death of one of their leaders, killed in a shoot-out with police.
The order to disarm the group and the ability to actually make it happen are two different things, however, and while police moved on a hotel linked to the group’s leadership they are unlikely to disarm the group as a whole without a fight.
Russian officials expressed support for the move, as did foreign ministers from several EU member nations, which urged Ukraine’s new government to distance itself from the extremist factions.
Time well tell, but as long as the Swedish citizens and other European nationality, member of European right sectors guarding the parliament demanding the resignation of Ukrainian government, it won't happen. The Norwegian man who massacred young and old Norwegian citizen on that island warned Europe about the uprising of right sectors all over Europe, he simply said: " this is the beginning" .
Is it clear at this point that he was killed in a shootout? I have read mixed reports, notably here:
There were conflicting accounts of the killing. According to Deputy Interior Minister Vladimir Yevdokimov, Muzychko opened fire on a police squad that was sent to arrest him and several of his confederates at a café in Rivne. He opened fire, wounding one of the policemen, who returned fire, fatally wounding Muzychko. Three of his armed bodyguards were captured. Yevdokimov called Muzychko the leader of a “criminal gang.”
Ukrainian opposition legislator Oleksandr Doniy claimed, however, that Muzychko died in a gangland-style killing by assailants who stopped his car, tied his hands behind his back, and shot him.
Doniy is affiliated to the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA), a Washington, DC-based outfit whose Facebook page reposts material from Right Sector. The UCCA’s mission statement specifies that it will “cooperate with the United States government in creating an equitable world order.”
Former senior Ukrainian intelligence officials speaking to Russian news agency RIA Novosti said that the killing of Muzychko was an operation carried out under the direct orders of Ukrainian intelligence chief Valentin Nalivaichenko. “The goal of the operation was not to capture, but to neutralize Muzychko, to take him off stage,” they said.

Now, before the coup…seem to recall the USg promising some reprisal if they used the military on the 'protestors'. That is, it (Kerry in particular, if I remember right) insisted the Yonukovych gov't conform to a principle that the USg already no longer imposed on itself. Well, so now the new gov't is outlawing 'groups,' disarming people, and even, dare we say, thereby collectively-punishing them. And I presume no threats from the USg over it? Wussies!
That was probably the game with the 'Nazis' to begin with (it definitely confused me): eventually someone else was going to 'clean up' their tools for them –to some applause.
BBC is reporting that the Ministry of Interior investigation of Sashco Bily's death, which was launched after the Right Sector picketted the Rada, concluded that he shot himself. Of course he did. But when his body was dumped, I believe his hands were still tied behind his back. Remarkable dexterity.
The possibility that the Right Sector willingly lays down its arms and rides off into the sunset are highly unlikely. Their role in the coup brought them to the forefront of politics within Kiev – and it's going to take more than a "vote" in the Parliament to disarm them is just pure and simple silliness. The coup gave the neo-nazies a platform and microphone – they will not give them up.

Another part of Nuland's scam comes unstuck! And, of course, all this torpedos the neocons' original plan of turning the European Parliament election into a pseudo-referendum on the EU by supporting (probably with money and certainly with media influence) far-right parties (wrongly beleived to be anti-EU in the American cloudcuckooland!). Wait a minute! The Right Sector is a problem — but a tiny one! The real problem are two parties that should be considered insane on political spectrum: Svoboda and the Fatherland. Svoboda has its branches in Germany, and collaborates with German extremists, and they are promising that Kyev is the beginning of the NEW EUROPE. Leader, Tyahnibok is well known for his "meetings", hand-salutes and night torch-parades to scare people. The party controls the most important sectors of the new "government". The Deputy Rada Speaker was filmed when he broke — with some othe delegates — into the top Kyev TV offices, roughing up the manager and forcing him to sign resignation. Then there is The Fatherland, with the innocuous looking Yatzenyuk. What a joke. He has the banker cover for Yulia Tymoschenko when she went to jail. Now she is back, and in her full form in a recorded telephone conversation threatening to nuke Russia "till no earth is left", and in response to the question what to do with Russians in Ukraine, about 8 million, she said — Nuke them, nuke them all. Right Sector is just a show — they should just change into suits, and no problem. In fact, they are recruiting them as we speak into — National Guard. This is all no good. I have no idea why Dettroit does not sue Federal Government for spening now billions and who knows how much more to cozy up to white supremacists — and neglecting the predominantly black cities at home. But then, they are in a real bind. How do you tell black president not to host a white supremacist in White House?
