A new report, originating in the French Le Figaro newspaper is claiming that an influx of Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebel fighters is moving from the Jordanian border toward the capital city of Damascus.
The fighters crossed back into Syria on August 17 and had more enter on the 19th. They were involved in the training operation at the US-run base in Jordan, and were reportedly trained by both CIA operatives and Israeli commandos.
If true the report would provide the first real insight into the training program’s inner workings, and would also be the first time Israel has been revealed to be directly involved in supporting the rebels. Needless to say, Israeli involvement could be a major blow to Syrian rebel credibility.
The rebel Syrian National Council is already denying this report, saying it was “out of the question” and that the claims amounted to “cheap heroism” aimed to spread the idea of Western backing for the rebels.
What parallel universe those French live in. The whole chemical attack shtick was cooked because the rebels have all but finished. Now they march on Damascus? LOL
It is quite self-evident that the collapse of the insurrectionists' military efforts has caused DC and Tel Aviv to double down. The WMD hoax is a proven winner, so of course they've uncorked it yet again. The satraps in Europe, having been sternly rebuked in secret channels that they had better not forget their place as a result of the Snowden revelations, gleefully clamor to lead the assault. The insanity of pushing Russia to the brink is laughed off. "Putin will cave in, just like everyone else does. We are unbeatable. If the Russians really are stupid enough to try to stop us, we will crush them. History is ours to make."
I believe this is all posturing and blabbing, there will he no attack to the best of my analysis. A lot of this shit is pushed by the kingdom of evil in the area, and it is not Israel. If the shit hit the fan, no state in the area will be safe, they all will resemble Iraq as the divisions they created there to continue the killing and marginalize it are very much present in their own backyards and will not be contained anymore. So much for their leadership.
