Syrian rebels are constantly shifting around their statements on US weapons, insisting at times that the arms will be decisive, that they will be “too late,” and now claiming that they have “given up” on ever getting the arms.
The Obama Administration made it sound like the arms influx was imminent, and the Syrian rebels seemed to envision being awash in arms within a matter of days. As the process slows amid Congressional opposition, the rebels are lashing out.
Now they say they doubt the arms will ever be delivered, and are accusing Israel of being behind the delay, on the grounds that Israel is averse to the nation falling into the hands of al-Qaeda-linked militants.
Of course a lot of people are worried about that, but the rebels also see not getting the arms as proof the US wants to keep the war going. Interestingly, many analysts saw the arms announcement in the first place aimed at that, discouraging rebels from joining peace talks and trying to keep the rebels, who have been losing territory, from being overrun.

Its about time for these "rebels" and what is called "oppositions" to give up the hope wanting to build a Islamic terrorist land in Syria. Syria is the graveyard of these barbarians. What they have done is the crime of century, what their supporters have done is yet another act against humanity. Don't believe for a second that Obama administration have nothing to do with any war plans regarding middle east coming out pentagon or CIA or state department and etc, he is the one signing them to be continued.
Look for alternatives next time an elections comes around, democrats are no longer democrats they spy on all of you, Republican Party presents McCain and two other stogies, but there are other alternatives that can beat both of these no good political entity of vulture capitalism.
What about the Baath Party? Or better yet, let's have Bashar name his son as the next President.

Yes, I think that Israel is not interested, and maybe NATO is also not interested in having a powerful Rebel force and that one of two groups of enemies is winning that war and ending it. As it happened in Iraq (where NATO even supported the Sunni ElQaida to neutralize a strong Shiite government), and in centuries with the British empire (like in India and Pakistan), by just slightly supporting the weaker of two groups you trigger a failed state which is easy to control since it has enough domestic problems.
Who wants it to end? My sense is they will continue to pour fuel on the fire just enough to keep it going, as it's a perfect "Office of Preemptive Operations" job. Get your enemies to kill each other? Psy Ops never had it so good.
