High profile Israeli judge Eliyahu Winograd, who was responsible for the probe into Israel’s 2006 invasion of Lebanon, expressed his opposition to plans in Israel’s ruling coalition to attack Iran.
Winograd termed comments from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak “completely irresponsible,” warning that the attack was a threat to Israel’s future.
The judge particularly faulted statements from officials trying to downplay the future Israeli death toll from a war (Barak put it at 500 killed, max), saying that there was no way to estimate that.
“Netanyahu is doing too much talking. What is that good for? You’re planning an operation? Sit down, shut up and plan it quietly. If you’re planning a strike – strike, but why talk about it? So that the Iranians can be better prepared? I don’t understand,” he added.

I agree with jacksplace58. The judge is not saying that such an attack would be irresponsible. He's only saying that talking about it in advance is irresponsible – just do it already. He's a murderous racist pig just like the rest the warmongers. They only disagree with each other about strategic details.
The Forward has a recent article on dissent among military commanders over the proposed invasion of Iran by Israel. Really sounds like Netanyahu wants to lure the US of A into doing the job for him; not exactly an olympian venture.
