At least 25 people were killed today when US drones fired two missiles at a home and vehicle in Pakistan’s North Waziristan Agency. Pakistani officials termed all of the slain “militants.”
The strike took place in Gora Qabristan, just outside of the town of Miramshah, and officials said the slain were potentially part of a group planning attacks on NATO forces in neighboring Afghanistan, linked with the Haqqani network.
The attack comes as tensions between the US and Pakistan continue the rise. The Pakistani government has demanded the US stop all such strikes, but behind the scenes they previously backed such strikes and it is unclear how serious the new-found opposition is.
The Obama Administration continues to insist that the program will continue however, despite growing evidence that the vast majority of the victims are innocent civilians who just happen to live in the tribal area.
This is so called super power and history never change.
Americans are always heros to kill civilians like their own inhabitants.
I wish Allahs sends a horror catastrophe to kill the americans for their deed especially CIA head quater a centre of terrorists.
Don't you worry about it. Keep a safe distance and watch what is happening. You shall enjoy it.
Yes, yes, yes, but all 20 of them were insurgents, in fact, they were all Taliban/Al Qaeda operatives numbers 1-20 and all under the age of 15.
What they want us to believe:
ALL of them were militants. EVERY ONE OF THEM. Sitting inside a house. Together, plotting death and destruction, every man jack of them a steel-eyed killer. Swarthy, bearded, turban-bedecked jihadists, sharpening their beheading knives while chanting verses from the Qur'an, waiting for their chance to wreak havoc on the infidels so they will get the chance to die in battle and be granted 72 virgins in Paradise. All of them meeting openly, brazenly disdaining any sort of cover or concealment for their meeting to discuss their nefarious schemes.
OR
What they don't want us to see:
An everyday Middle Eastern extended family, including one or more sets of parents, a couple of grandparents, a sprinkling of young adults and teens, and younger children playing or just making do with the day-today business of survival in a harsh land wracked by warfare on all sides.
What group is more likely to be on the list of the dead, given our track record of drone strikes?
