Israeli attacks across Gaza on Wednesday killed at least seven people, including a six-year-old and a 10-year-old, medical officials told Reuters, as the IDF continues its constant violations of the US-backed ceasefire deal.
The 10-year-old was killed by an Israeli strike on tents in the al-Mawasi camp in southern Gaza. A total of four people were killed in the attack, and several others were wounded, including other children.
Palestinian medics said that the six-year-old, a boy, was killed by Israeli gunfire in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood. Other attacks in Gaza City included an airstrike near a school that killed one Palestinian and a strike to the west of the city that hit a vehicle and also killed one person.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said that it recorded the Israeli killing of eight Palestinians and the injury of 17 over the previous 24-hour period. “A number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them so far,” the ministry wrote on Telegram.
The ministry said that since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025, the IDF has killed 1,084 Palestinians and wounded 3,491. Besides the constant attacks, the IDF has also violated the deal by taking more territory in Gaza, and now controls somewhere around 70% of the Strip.
While Israel never actually ceased its attacks in Gaza, strikes appear to have intensified in recent days as at least six Palestinians were killed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The escalation came after Hamas announced it was dissolving its government in Gaza, an effort to get the US to pressure Israel to actually implement the ceasefire deal, but Washington remains silent about Israel’s constant violations.
