Israeli Attacks in Gaza Kill Nine Palestinians in 48 Hours

The IDF has killed 1,041 Palestinians in Gaza since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed

Israeli attacks in Gaza have killed at least nine Palestinians over the past two days, according to numbers released by Gaza’s Health Ministry, as the IDF continues its constant violations of the US-backed ceasefire deal.

The Health Ministry said in its daily update on Saturday that Israeli attacks killed at least six Palestinians and wounded 20 over the previous 24-hour period. Another Palestinian died of wounds sustained in a previous Israeli strike, and a body was recovered from the rubble, bringing the total number of dead added to the death toll to eight.

On Sunday, the ministry said that it recorded the Israeli killing of three Palestinians and the injury of 43 over the past 24 hours. Since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025, Israeli forces have killed 1,041 Palestinians and wounded 3,329.

Israeli attacks in Gaza over the past few days included a Friday airstrike on a vehicle in the al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza that killed three Palestinians. On Saturday, a drone strike on tents in the al-Mawasi camp in southern Gaza killed two siblings: a 15-year-old girl, Islam Moussa, and her 30-year-old brother, Abdullah Moussa.

Israeli attacks continued on Sunday, with the Palestinians news agency WAFA reporting that an airstrike hit a car near Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, and that at least two people were killed. Al Jazeera reported that there was also heavy Israeli shelling and tank fire in the area.

On top of the daily attacks, the IDF has also been violating the ceasefire by taking more land in Gaza, and Gaza residents have reported an increase in ground incursions in recent weeks, which came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he ordered the IDF to increase its control of Gaza from 60% of the territory to 70%.
