Israeli strikes continued against southern Lebanon on Wednesday, adding at least another 12 people killed and several others wounded. The attacks continue to escalate in spite of the extension of the ceasefire another 45 days over the last weekend.
The largest number of deaths came in the village of Doueir, where Israeli jets were leveling homes, killing at least five people within and wounding two others.
An additional two people were killed in airstrikes near the hospital in Tibnin, while another person was reported slain in the Tyre District in an attack on their motorcycle.

At least 22 people have been killed in the past 24 hours, including strikes late on Tuesday and overnight, including 3 women and 3 children. The Lebanese Health Ministry reports 3,094 people have been killed and nearly 10,000 others wounded since the beginning of the Israeli invasion in March.
The IDF has not commented on the attacks overnight or so far into today, and indeed while they’d previously been claiming enormous numbers of Hezbollah members among the slain, the number of women, children and other obvious civilians among the slain simply don’t support the idea of the overwhelming majority of the killed being Hezbollah operatives.
Two Israeli soldiers were also wounded in a drone strike in southern Lebanon. One was described as seriously wounded and the other as moderately so. A third soldier was also claimed to be lightly injured in the same incident.
