Israel’s latest evacuation order for eastern Khan Younis has “wiped out” the UN’s efforts to improve aid deliveries via the Kerem Shalom border crossing in southern Gaza, the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said on Wednesday.
“We have been engineering a lot of solutions and trying and testing, improving and failing – at times – and now with this evacuation order, all this has been, again, wiped out,” Andrea De Domenico, head of the OCHA for the Palestinian territories, told reporters, according to Reuters.
Israel’s evacuation order impacted 250,000 Palestinians living in Khan Younis, and many had recently fled Israel’s assault on Rafah. One Palestinian family that fled Khan Younis to an Israeli-declared “safe zone” in Deir al-Balah was hit by an Israeli strike on Tuesday that killed 12 people, including five children and three women.
On Wednesday, Israel strikes continued to hit targets across the Gaza Strip. According to Al Jazeera, Gaza’s Health Ministry said at least 28 Palestinians were killed in the previous 24-hour period.
One of the strikes on Wednesday slammed into a residential building next to the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, which is in the western part of the city that Israel claimed is a safe zone. A day earlier, patients and medical staff from the European Hospital in eastern Khan Younis fled to the Nasser Hospital.
De Domenico noted the bombings of the so-called “safe zones” and said Gaza was “the only place in the world where people cannot find a safe refuge, and can’t leave the front line.”

Wow! Made me dissolve into tears. Sends chills down my spine. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!
Pass it on
He was right…! The audience applauded to everything… because they were like aimless herd…!

All out war is the only answer. These rabid animals must be put down. But first drop leaflets so they can all horde from one place to another and then bomb them there.
News flash of the day is Israel considering a proposal from Hamas. I said "considering". I would not trust the Zionists in the Israeli administration as far as I can throw my truck.
"the only place in the world where people cannot find a safe refuge, and can’t leave the front line" Hamas should have thought about how they were going to protect their civilians when Hamas made their war plans. But Hamas did not.
Still trying to justify Israel's terrorism by what someone else did. Still doesn't work. Terrorism, no matter who does it and for whatever reason, is terrorism. Israel has no peers. None.
The US?
In volume, probably. But no one is so blatant.
The simple fact is that Hamas started a war and had no plans to protect its civilians. Not only that they put their forts in civilians areas. What do you expect Israel to do? Not attack Hamas because Gaza civilians are going to get killed? Somehow you expect Israel to magically fight the war without civilians losses and you don't blame Hamas at all for putting their people at risks. Sinwar called them, "Necessary sacrifices", but he is not responsible for their deaths! Yea, right.
It doesn't matter what Hamas did. Hamas has been designated as terrorists by our state department. You can't possibly expect an organization that has been designated as terrorists to care about civilian life. And yet you continue to blame designated terrorists for Israel willingly killing civilians. That designated terrorist group, according to you, has given Israel the right to drop the equivalent of the A-bombs the US dropped on Japan, and then some, on a 141 square mile area packed with 2.3 million civilians with the majority of them being women and children. It also, according to you, has given them the right to create the worst humanitarian disaster on the planet. So, when Israel stoops lower than designated terrorist groups in regard to willingly killing innocent life, the standards that landed Hamas as "designated" terrorists should be used to judge Israel also. And that makes Israel, once more, without peers.
”Wiped Out”??? Ahem. Unfortunate choice of words.
The war crimes are piling up for the crime minister…!
On this our Independence Day, I dream of the day that the Palestinians have their independence from Israel. I can only dream.
Secondarily I dream of the day the U.S. is free from the control of Israel over the people we elect to manage this country for we, the citizens.
Taking "coordination" out of The UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), while we blame the Palestinians? That's cruel, man.
Not surprisingly the Israelis have morphed into the Nazis who persecuted and tried to wipe out their forebears.
It has become apparent to me that the creator loves irony.
