As a result of a Hezbollah drone strike against Israeli troops in northern Israel, it is now reported that one of the soldiers, a reserve sergeant, Rafael Kodris, has died of his injuries.
The strike took place in the Harvish area of Upper Galilee. Nine other soldiers were reported wounded in the attack, which took place on Wednesday near the Israel-Lebanon border.
Hezbollah carried out several drone and rocket attacks across northern Israel that day, causing casualties and inflicting damage at multiple Israeli military sites.
Israel responded, as it often does, by carrying out heavy attacks against southern Lebanon, hitting buildings in towns and villages across the area. One strike hit and damaged a house in Aadchit.
Another strike was reported on the road to Wadi Jilou, destroying a 3-story building and heavily damaging nearby buildings. There was no report as to why the building was targeted in the first place.
With talk picking up in recent days that a full-scale Israeli war on Lebanon could be imminent, the US is warning Israel against launching even a limited war against its neighbor, cautioning it might lead to pro-Iran fighters flocking to Lebanon to resist the invasion.
President Biden, who has been pushing a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, maintains that returning calm to the border with Lebanon requires a ceasefire with Gaza. Hezbollah has said as much in the past, confirming they are prepared for a ceasefire if a deal ends the conflict in Gaza.

The last one I saw from Hezbollah was a first person drone view of two Israeli soldiers scrambling to get out of the way as the drone hit its target building. They were clearly visible and pretty clearly they didn't make it.
Meanwhile Israel has shown almost no Hamas fighters bodies – but a lot of Palestinian civilian bodies they claim are "Hamas."
