Israel continued its attacks against motorcycles in southern Lebanon this morning, targeting one in Naqoura. In this attack one person was killed and another wounded. Exactly who the casualties were was not disclosed.
A second drone struck a car near the southern village of Zrariyeh, killing one. The slain was identified in Israeli statements as Hussein Sabra, He was described as a member of Hezbollah’s force-buildup unit and had recently been involved in efforts to improve air defense.
Beyond this, Israel reported separate attacks against buildings in Qotrani, claiming the buildings were also associated with Hezbollah air defense units. With Israeli airstrikes a daily occurrence across Lebanon, particularly the south, air defense is a high priority.
Hezbollah responded with suicide drone attacks against the Israeli command headquarters of the Eastern Front in the Galilee Division. They reported the attacks were directly carried out in retaliation for the Zrariyeh assassination.
In addition to drones, Hezbollah said they fired guided missiles at an Israeli military vehicle in the area, destroying it and inflicting casualties. Israel has not commented on the casualties.
Israel did report 30 rockets were fired against the occupied Golan Heights but claimed to have intercepted some. No details were provided about damage apart from several fires that broke out.
Israel is being overly aggressive in the region, which indeed puts the entire world in a precarious position.
