Two ballistic missiles were fired into Maarib Province by the Houthi forces in northern Yemen. The missiles hit a mosque and a nearby religious school.
Details are still emerging, with 29 civilian casualties reported as having been either dead or wounded. It is not clear how many died.
The Houthi movement has not commented yet either, though the group is heavily pushing into the Maarib Province, and has taken a lot of territory in recent weeks.
Saudi warplanes have been carrying out huge numbers of airstrikes in Maarib recently, trying to put the Houthis on their heels. It may be that the Houthis decided they needed strikes of their own, despite no apparent point to the strike.
