A 10-year-old boy died in Gaza on Wednesday of wounds sustained in an Israeli attack days earlier, as the Israeli military continued launching strikes across the besieged Palestinian territory.
The boy, identified as Abdul Rahman Khalil Awad, was hit by an Israeli drone strike in Gaza City on October 19. Footage from Gaza on Wednesday shows the boy being mourned at the al-Shifa Hospital, which announced his death.
Attacks in Gaza on Wednesday included an Israeli drone strike that hit the al-Mawasi tent camp near Khan Younis, southern Gaza, which killed at least one Palestinian. Later in the day, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that two were killed by an Israeli strike in the Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said in its daily update, released about midday Gaza time, that Israeli attacks killed at least seven Palestinians and wounded 24 over the previous 24 hours.
The ministry said that since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed just over one year ago in October 2025, the IDF has killed at least 1,534 Palestinians and wounded more than 5,486, for a total of over 7,000 Palestinian casualties, as Israel has constantly violated the agreement.
