Israeli attacks in Gaza on Tuesday have killed at least two Palestinians, according to reports from the Strip, as the IDF continues its constant violations of the US-backed ceasefire deal that was signed nearly a year ago.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that a young man, identified as Mohammed al-Yazji, was killed by an Israeli airstrike west of Gaza City.
Later in the day, WAFA reported that an Israeli drone strike hit the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in southwestern Gaza City, killing at least one Palestinian and wounding others. An Israeli strike also hit a tent encampment north of Gaza City, wounding multiple people.

Gaza’s Health Ministry didn’t release a daily death toll update on its Telegram on Tuesday, but WAFA cited medical sources who said that since the ceasefire deal was signed on October 9, 2025, the IDF has killed at least 1,462 Palestinians in Gaza and wounded 5,151. Gaza’s Government Media Office said last week that it has recorded over 5,000 Israeli ceasefire violations.
Wednesday, October 7, will mark three years since the Hamas attack on southern Israel and the start of Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza. Since then, the Health Ministry has recorded 74,016, which accounts only for violent deaths, and several studies have found that it’s likely a significant undercount and that the real violent death toll could exceed 100,000.
The US has continued to back Israel’s attacks in Gaza despite President Trump and the so-called Board of Peace recently announcing that Hamas had agreed to a US-proposed disarmament deal, a potential agreement that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected.
