Israeli attacks in Gaza on Wednesday killed at least two Palestinians as the IDF continues its constant violations of the October 2025 ceasefire deal despite the US announcing that Hamas agreed to a disarmament deal.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that a Palestinian youth was killed by a drone strike in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, and photos from the al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City show Palestinians mourning a teenage boy, identified as Ismail al-Harsh. At least one other person was wounded in the attack and was also brought to al-Shifa Hospital.
Later in the day, WAFA reported that a Palestinian, identified as 39-year-old Mohammed Mahmoud Murshed al-Qadi, died after being hit by an Israeli airstrike in a tent in the al-Mawasi camp west of Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
At least two other Palestinians died of their wounds sustained in previous Israeli attacks, including Amna al-Hissi, a 51-year-old woman who was shot by Israeli forces in Deir el-Balah a day earlier. Gaza’s Civil Defense also announced that one of its rescue workers, identified as Yusuf Salem, died of wounds sustained in north Gaza on Tuesday, and a funeral for him was held on Wednesday.
“Civil Defense crews continue their work under extremely dangerous conditions, rescuing civilians and reaching affected areas despite the risks surrounding them,” the Civil Defense wrote on Telegram. “Yusuf passed away while carrying out his humanitarian duty… and his colleagues continue the mission.”
Gaza’s Health Ministry said in its daily update on Wednesday that, over the previous 24-hour period, Israeli attacks killed at least seven Palestinians and wounded 31. Since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025, the ministry has recorded the Israeli killing of 1,334 Palestinians and the injury of 4,429.
