Israeli attacks in Gaza on Wednesday killed at least two Palestinians, according to reports from the Strip, as the IDF continues its constant violations of the US-backed ceasefire deal.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that one Palestinian was killed by an Israeli drone strike on the Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City. The report said that several others were injured in the attack.
In southern Gaza, WAFA reported that one Palestinian was killed by a strike on a group of civilians in the al-Mawasi tent camp west of Khan Younis. The slain Palestinian and several others who were wounded were brought to the Nasser Hospital.
On Tuesday night, the Israeli military ordered the forced evacuation of an area around a mosque in Gaza City, and launched a strike that destroyed the mosque and dozens of tents in the surrounding area, leaving many Palestinians without shelter.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said in its daily update on Wednesday, released about midday Gaza time, that it recorded the Israeli killing of one Palestinian and the injury of 29 over the previous 24-hour period. It said that one other Palestinian wounded by a previous Israeli attack succumbed to wounds and died.
The ministry said that since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025, the IDF has killed at least 1,209 Palestinians and wounded 3,943. The IDF has also violated the agreement by capturing more territory in Gaza, and the Trump administration has remained silent about the Israeli violations despite President Trump making a big show of the deal when it was first signed and creating the so-called “Board of Peace” to oversee it.
