Israeli attacks in Gaza on Monday killed at least six Palestinians, according to reports from the Palestinian territory, as the IDF continues its constant violations of the US-backed ceasefire deal.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that an Israeli strike on a hospital-turned-shelter for displaced Palestinians in the Jabalia refugee camp killed at least two people and injured 16, mostly children. The report said a woman whose body was torn apart was among the fatalities.
Another Israeli strike targeted the al-Mawasi tent camp in southern Gaza, killing at least three Palestinians and injuring several others. According to WAFA, the strike hit a vehicle near a UK-Med field hospital.
WAFA also reported that a man succumbed to his wounds sustained in an earlier Israeli attack on Gaza City, bringing Monday’s death toll to at least six. Several other Palestinians were injured by other Israeli drone attacks and gunfire across the Strip.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said Monday that it recorded the Israeli killing of three Palestinians and the injury of 22 over the previous 24-hour period. It said that since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025, the IDF has killed 1,158 Palestinians and wounded 3,756.
Israel has escalated its attacks on Gaza amid the renewed US bombing campaign against Iran, as the US-Iran war has diverted global attention. The US has remained silent as Israel continues daily violations of the ceasefire deal advanced by President Trump, which have included the IDF taking more territory in Gaza.
