An Israeli strike in Gaza City on Monday targeted a motorcycle, killing at least one Palestinian, as the IDF continues its constant violations of the US-backed ceasefire deal.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the motorcycle was struck in Gaza City’s southwestern Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, and other people were injured by the Israeli attack.

Several other Palestinians were injured by a separate Israeli attack on the al-Twam area in Gaza City’s northwest. Earlier on Monday, a Palestinian was killed when Israeli warplanes targeted a home in central Gaza’s al-Maghazi refugee camp, according to WAFA.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said in its daily update on Monday that it recorded the Israeli killing of seven Palestinians and the injury of 32. It said another Palestinian died of wounds sustained in a previous Israeli attack.
Since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025, at least 1,108 Palestinians have been killed by the IDF in Gaza and 3,578 have been wounded, according to the Health Ministry’s numbers. “A number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them so far,” the ministry wrote on Telegram.
The ministry’s overall death toll since the start of Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza in October 2023 has reached 73,231, though several studies have found the ministry’s numbers are likely a significant undercount and that the real violent death toll could be as high as 100,000.
