An Israeli drone strike in Gaza City on Thursday killed at least three Palestinians as the Israeli military continues its constant violations of the US-backed ceasefire deal.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the strike hit a civilian vehicle in Gaza City’s al-Rimal neighborhood. Photos from Gaza show the wreckage following the strike.

Palestinian medics told Reuters that later in the day, Israeli forces operating in central Gaza killed at least one Palestinian. In recent days, Gaza residents have been reporting an increase in Israeli ground operations to seize more territory in Gaza, which comes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he ordered the IDF to take more land, another clear violation of the truce deal.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said in its daily update, which it releases about midday Gaza time, that it recorded the Israeli killing of at least two Palestinians and the injury of eight over the previous 24-hour period.
The ministry said that since the so-called ceasefire deal was signed, the IDF has killed 1,007 Palestinians in Gaza and wounded 3,1655. The ministry’s overall death toll since the start of Israel’s genocidal war in October 2023 has reached 73,018, which, according to several studies, is likely a significant undercount, and the real violent death toll could be as high as 100,000.
