Israel continued airstrikes and ground attacks across Lebanon today, with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam warning there seems to be no end to the expanded Israeli occupation in the south.
The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that over the last 24 hours, another 27 people have been killed in Israeli attacks, and 105 others wounded. This stands in contrast to the Israeli military’s own claim to have killed at least 40 Hezbollah fighters in ground operations alone during that period.
There are no indications of such a large number of Hezbollah fighters killed, but a family of four, including a couple and their two daughters, were confirmed killed in Nabatieh, while three others were killed in a separate strike against a building in nearby Kfarsir.

Salam expressed disquiet about the ever-expanding Israeli invasion and warned of the dangerous talk of establishing a Greater Israel including captured Lebanese territory. He faulted Hezbollah for the war, and particularly for their coordination with Iran.
Well over a million people have been displaced by Israel since the war began in early March. This includes some 600,000 south of the Litani River, who according to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz will not be allowed to return to their homes.
Large numbers of people were also displaced in suburbs of the capital city of Beirut, as well as in the area between the Litani and Zahrani Rivers, where the IDF has issued evacuation orders in anticipation of strikes.
