Israel carried out multiple drone strikes against southern and eastern Lebanon on Monday and into Tuesday, killing at least two people and wounded 10 others, including a child who was seriously wounded.
The fatal strikes were reported in Deir Kifa and Beit Lif. The Deir Kifa strike was reportedly targeting a vehicle and killed the driver. Israeli media reported the strike was approximately 20 km from the border.
At least ten were wounded in a pair of drone strikes against the coastal area on Monday night. A strike near Tyre hit Rahhal Tower, injuring nine, then another strike on Zrarieh, near Sidon, injured a child.

The child, a young girl, was described as being seriously injured. Media reports suggested she was taken to the hospital and is in intensive care. Her condition following that has yet to be confirmed.
All told nine sites were hit on Monday, mostly in the evening, and IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee claimed they were all “Hezbollah military infrastructures.” No evidence was offered that any of the sites was actually Hezbollah’s.
Lebanese officials have documented over 3,800 violations of the ceasefire by Israel since it went into effect in November. Lebanon has reportedly requested the US, the guarantor of that ceasefire, do something to discourage Israel from continuing its near daily attacks.
