US Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power continued to blame Russia for the escalation of the situation in Eastern Ukraine, saying the demonstrations showed the “tell-tale signs of Moscow’s involvement.”
Power argued that the protesters were too “professional” and too well-coordinated to have ever been organized by the east Ukrainians themselves, saying it must’ve been done by the Russian government.
The US should know, too, as they and other Western nations were repeatedly implicated in organizing the Kiev protests that earlier this year ousted the elected government, and replaced them with the new, pro-US “interim” government that the ethnic Russians in the east are trying to secede from.
Russian officials denied any involvement in the protests, but warned the “western sponsors” of the new government to do something to stop the crackdown, saying they “must keep their wards under control.”
Samantha power can blame anyone she wants, as a UN diplomat it is her diplomatic rights following on that old path of blaming game, like Iraq had a atomic bomb and Saddam regime was going to use it, or the barbarians fighting the Syrian nations are the enemy of my enemy and therefore they are my friends and Libyan government was going to kill thousands of Libyans if NATO didn't do anything, that Qatari government is THE democracy in Middle East after Saudis tyrant regime and Iranian are just about to make atomic bombs and Israel is not apartheid regime but they are in cooperation with Saudis to achieve nothing out of nothing in Syria but helping USG wrongful politics for over 60 years. Samantha power is not saying that because of intelligent or her knowledge about Ukraine, US state department have spend $6 billion dollars of working man and women by not getting anything in return, then they start blaming their old Yady Yady ya on everyone els, they even tell EU to go and f..u..c..k yourself, just for having said something, in "political language" to their allies. Just think for a moment, what kind of friend, or ally would use such a language if the friend, or ally, were not a real friend nor ally. Blaming others is the easiest way out for a loser.
US Government knows all the "tell-tale" signs, since they use all this tricks in spreading of "democracy". Nevertheless these tell-tale signs are not proofs of Russia's involvement until some Putin's assistant is not phoning to Russia's ambassador telling him to fuck the Samantha Power or even Nuland herself. Involvement of US in a Ukrainian coup is not proof of Russia's involvement in post-coup Ukraine either.
I watched the clip of Powers pontificating about “tell-tale signs of Moscow’s involvement.” Watched her eyes…very shifty…must mean she's making all this up…everyone can see it. Just doesn't pass the smell test.
Where's the real proof – Powers making unsubstantiated statements to the fully-owned MSM doesn't cut it – "professional" protestors are just as likely to be US-paid and trained provocateurs. The USG seems to be trying very, very hard to convince the American people that Putin is the culprit and that the US should get involved. I hope the American people don't succumb to the BS being shoveled by the USG.
I also caught the clip of McCain advocating for more US involvement…I thought he was going to wet his pants he was so excited.
Someone should ask Mr. McCain if he has proof of Russian involvement. Perhaps pictures of Russian members of the Duma flying into eastern Ukraine cities to hand out cookies to the protesters?
nice…but I'm sure McCain sees Russians in his sleep…and under his bed…and in his closet…oh, wait, that's where he left his…never mind.
"Too professional," eh? Well, pardon me for pointing out that when the FedGov backs "protesters," governments magically implode and pro-DC regimes miraculously sprout in their place.
Does anyone recall the US government telling the truth about anything important EVER? I certainly don't, though I can't rule out the possibility that they missed an opportunity to lie sometime or other.
Power's analysis makes sense in so far as she claims that a local porotest movement anywhere in the world would not be so well organised. Think of the Arab Spring, the protests in various EU Member States, or even Klitschko's peaceful protestors in Kiev. To me, the people running the show are private contractors, as we saw in Crimea, not regular Russian military forces. Such contractors don't come cheap, so it would be interesting to know who's paying them. That wouls also explain why Putin is so scared of a fight and why the Ukrainians are so anxious to prevent it. The contractors would inevitably lose ment and equipment, losses which, one assumes, their "customer" would have to make good, thereby sending the cost of hiring them through the roof.
Victoria Nuland's cookies — the most expensive cookies US taxpayer paid for. She was happily feeding protesters on Maidan Square, surrounded by the brutes of the Right Sector, kill-al-minorities Svoboda Party, and our favorite, The Fatherland Party of Yulia Timoshenko and her and our protegee, "Jatz", Jatzenyuk — with genocidal fantasies of "nuking" all Russians, both in Russia and Ukraine. Now, these are the choices for president — notwithstanding a Chocholate King Pirosenko. How will the elections be legitimate in May, when all the parties in power are against the very people of southeast. And their parties have been either ransacked or banned like in Lvov?
Pottery Barn rule — US broke it, US will end up paying for it — no matter the bravado of our positively blossomed McCain. It is really up to us, Europe is just powerless to stop us from creating bigger chaos. If this keeps up, war will be coming — as the chaos in Ukraine that has four nuclear power plants is not acceptable to Russia, as it is much too dangerous for their own security as well as the very real possibility of nuclear power abuse in the hands of radicals in power.
We are enjoying a good life, as I look each day yellow school buses stop by my house, and take kids to school. This all can end in crisis, both economic and military, if we do not question the utter idiocity of what passes for "foreign policy".
It looks like they are just copying whatever the Maydaners did. Blowback is a b*tch, Ms Powers.
