Israeli officials may say that the settlement expansions into the occupied West Bank totally aren’t a problem, but they’ve clearly been a source of strain on the peace process, and if the talks fail Israel will be blamed because of that.
This was the message from EU Ambassador to Israel Lars Faaborg-Andersen, who warned in an interview with Channel 2 that Israel is going to find itself increasingly isolated because of the settlement expansions, and that something of an ad hoc boycott might wind up being imposed by “a myriad of private economic actors.”
Andersen’s comments echo similar ones made over the weekend by Secretary of State John Kerry, who warned that the status quo is “not sustainable” and that Israel needs to be aware that calls for boycotts would expand if the talks fail.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected the talk of boycotts, saying they would “push peace farther away,” while other Israeli officials have downplayed the chance of any peace deal at any rate, saying they believe they’ll be fine at any rate.
This is not time for blaming the failed talks on Israel, is time to in force the UN resolutions down through the throat of the Israeli government, it is the international legal obligation that EU and USG have and least they can do. Boycott Israel totally, that's is the only language Israel will understand, Israel has been blamed long enough.
All it would take is people in the USA to get on the ball, en masse (something around 1-3% of the US population) and DEMAND that the US stop blocking the international consensus on the two-state solution.
2004, ICJ ruled that Israel's blockades of and claims to Palestinian territory are null and void, and called on all states to take action to make Israel withdraw and stop its illegal blockades.
States can't do this, because the USA won't let anyone.
Make the USA join the world community and allow the required two-state solution law to be enforced, and Israel won't have any choice or backing in the matter. It will be forced to withdraw and stop its ethnic cleansing and colonizing and blockades. What's Israel going to do, nuke the USA? No. They're gonna withdraw, because without the big-dog USA allowing them to cleanse and colonize, they'll figure out pretty quick that bombing and chemically attacking little kids in open-air prisons doesn't make them as tough as they think.
If there developes "an ad hoc boycott might wind up being imposed by “a myriad of private economic actors” then it will soon thereafter become law too. That's how these things are done in the EU.
When will the obvious questions be asked aloud? Why is Israel allowed to keep talking out of both sides its mouth by going through the motions of peace negotiations while expanding the colonies in Palestine? Are the Americans actively, hypocritecally complicit in the Israeli land and property grab from the Palestinians or are they just plain childish asses—foolish old men who preen and titilate themselves by indulging their favorite plaything? The answers: the U.S. has no intention of helping establish a Palestinian state, the present situation suits the Americans fine, and Kerry's smoke and mirrors act is nothing more than that (how many of these transparent charades have there been in the past?). But there is also another question: is the U.S. anti-Arab, you know, racist, as in anti-Semitic.
In other ways F***K YOU is what Israel is telling the world community.
The humans race has lost the plote.
The humans race has lost the plote.
The little dog always barks the loudest.
As long as israel is a leech on the US taxpayer and keeps bribing US politicians they will never be isolated enough.
Now to worry Since the US Congress, media, think tanks, etc. are run by Israel-firsters, as with the Arab League boycott legislation will be passed to fine any company that goes along with the boycott! One of the very many shameful acts of US administration was adoption and enforcement of comprehensive anti-boycott legislation which Jimmy Carter signed into law in 1977. The law called for fines to be levied on American companies which cooperated with the boycott. Things will only change if we have Representatives in office who put America first.
And here is proof of he pudding – passing a bill to defund the academic boycott http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/04/opinion/a-chill…

I already boycott Israeli products – if I notice a "Made in Israel" tag on the product, I won't buy it. Lots of times, you can't inspect the product before purchase. Right now, I just grumble in private, but no longer.
If I notice that the product comes from Israel after purchase, I will now demand an exchange or a refund. And I really won't mind making a public scene. These people are acting in evil ways, and they will continue to smirk and go on until it starts costing them dearly.
I guess there is no intel inside your computer 😉
